Perfect location, amazing views and the nicest staff ever! It was a great home base for hikes and exploring the Berner Oberland. The balcony overlooking the mountains gave for some stunning views, especially at sunset.

The lack of room temperature control was a concern. Due to the excess heat at night, we needed to keep the windows open which allows too much light to enter the room. Also, the floor/ceiling construction is poorly isolated for sound transmission from the guests on the floor above.

Staff was wonderful (especially Rodrigo and Hugo!) and the food was very good. The view from our 2nd Floor room was great. The location right across the street from the train station was super convenient.

The bathroom could use more shelves for placing gear. Also, another towel would have been nice. The shower was small but easy to operate, with little leaking. I would love to see the beds get some cushions for the corners as I smacked my shins a couple of times!

This was a great place for my 4 day stay in Murren. It is across the road from the train station and faces the three big mountains across the valley. Sadly my room wasn't on an upper floor facing this view from a room balcony (gotta pay to play!). I had a side window on the first floor with partial views and full views of construction going on next door. The room was comfortable and well laid out. There were shelves for all my gear (though not in the bathroom!), a nice work table and plenty of outlets for electronic devices. The bathroom was efficient and used large bottles of shampoo/body wash - good for the environment. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The dining room was comfortable and low-key for dinner. The included breakfast was good and well stocked.

Super friendly team made our stay very enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. Stayed seven nights and mostly dined in the guesthouse. Food was great. Very convenient for the station as it's is just across the road so no long hauling of luggage required.

That we had to share a bathroom, but then that was known to us in advance so not really a negative point, but just highlighting it for anybody who might prefer a personal bathroom. The room, perhaps because I guess it’s a hostel kind of facility was having a bunk bed and not a regular bed, which I’m just highlighting if that matters to you because it was known to us in advance.

The location was right opposite the train station (but don’t worry, it did not cause any noise related issues). The house bar and restaurant was cozy. The shared bathroom was clean and available pretty much every time I wanted to access it, but that could be an exception. I’m not really sure how that happened, but yeah, was happy to see that. The balcony had a nice view of the hills.

The Eiger Guesthouse is extremely conveniently located right across the road from the train station. The room was very comfortable and the staff were all pleasant. Breakfasts were ample and tasty. Access to the swimming pool at the recreation centre was a big hit with my grandson.

The breakfast was a bit crowded and sometimes difficult to navigate the buffet area.

The location is perfect for a stay in Murren. It’s very affordable and an excellent value for the area. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The restaurant is convenient and serves great food-also good prices considering the area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Absolutely nothing !

I liked everything about the guesthouse ……..my room was so cosy 😍and from the moment I arrived it felt like home . The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . The food was fresh and delicious . The location was perfect and Murren is just so beautiful ❤️ I cannot recommend it highly enough and if I was lucky enough to return I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again . Thank you so much to Eva and the staff for taking care of me 😘

Construction was happening outside so sleeping with the window open for a good temperature in summer resulted in an early wake up.

The location was fabulous in Mürren right across from the train in one end of town. We loved how easy it was to get to local hikes and adventures. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful with questions.
