Reception is on the first floor, up a lot of stairs. However there is a lift from reception to the other floors

There is no elevator to the reception. There were two ladies at the reception during my stay. One was super friendly and helpful, while the other seemed to dislike her job. Over a week after my stay, I got an email explaining why I ripped off the power outlet from the wall, which I didn't do. The hotel didn't charge me for that damage. But good advice: please take pictures of the room before you leave in case someone accuses you of any damages.

The location is excellent in the old town of Chur and the breakfast was ok as well.

It's good value for money. We stayed in a triple room with a private bathroom just for a night. It's a bit basic but very conveniently located close to the train station so it was useful for us, as we had an early train to catch.

No lift from entrance to lobby of hotel.

Room, toilet and shower were clean and good. Staffs were friendly and helpful. If you are carrying significant luggage please be informed that you need to use the stairs from the entrance to the lobby. Lift is only available from the lobby to the rooms, not from the entrance. The elevation from the entrance to the lobby is approximately half-floor up. The distance from the Chur train station to the hotel is approximately 20-30 minutes, mostly uphill. The area is safe. Plenty of eateries nearby.

The hotel was undergoing construction (which we didn't know beforehand), and noises started early in the morning. There were no coffee and tea facilities in room - when we asked we were only given a kettle and cups but no supplies (we had our own from a previous trip). Breakfast very expensive.

Sparkling clean rooms and bathroom and does the job for 1 or two nights.

Can’t stop directly outside to unload, and have to walk up quite a long staircase to reach reception and the lift! But not a real problem for us. Would have liked a kettle in the room.

Location in old town 10 min walk to the station for Bernina Express next day. Newly refurbished room on top floor, very nice comfy beds, nice shower with good water pressure. Friendly check in girl who was really helpful. Discount on parking at nearby underground d garage. Great restaurant downstairs - traditional and great food though not cheap (but nothing is in Chur)!

Shared toilet and shower a bit far from the room and just one for the whole floor

The hotel is right in the city centre within walking minutes from the station. They give you a free guest pass for public transport for the day. Room clean and comfy bed

The lady when I checked in at 21.55 was a bit huffy about it, even though their advertised check in is up to 22.00. Although the shared shower room was perfectly clean and adequate the shower head doesn't stay up so you weren't able to stand under it. Maybe this is to stop people staying too long under the shower - who knows? But you think if you have just one shower per floor you would maintain it!

Although this is a basic hotel and the decor is worn, they keep it very clean and it was comfortable. The location was good, close to train station. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choices.

Good choice for a budget stop-over. Minor issue with room but staff happy to sort. Lovely historic hotel in the 'old town' district. Less than 10min walk from station and located in an interesting area. Filling breakfast choice.

The restaurant was closed all week (first week of January) and we were not informed. When asked for recommendations we were vaguely told to head up into the old town as there are lots of places. Most places being closed or required bookings. (Saturday night first week of January) Missing hooks to hang jackets in the room and the one cupboard didn't have shelves. The top floor corridor was in the process of renovation.

The room was on the top floor with a view up to the top of the old town. Recently renovated large room with a modern bathroom. Comfy bed but only one pillow each.. Reasonable breakfast buffet.

There was only one shower for the whole floor, so have to wait if it is used. Bed isn’t the most comfortable, in particular the pillows are far too soft.

Very spacious room, which was clean and well equipped. Room was very warm, even in winter. Location also fantastic, on the edge of the old town and 10 min walk from the train station.

I was expecting to share facilities but there was one shower only on the floor and one ladies toilet which was down a very long corridor.

Good value for money . Close to the train station and shops We only stayed a night as was boarding the Bernina express .Upgraded our room to include a shower for a few more Swiss cents . Can’t fault it for the price .
