The Hotel spa facilities were closed. The swimming pools need maintenance and cleaning. Some changing facilities doors were not closing properly and there was no soap in a shower. Even the clocks were not working in the swimming pools! It is not clear when booking if the Thermal Baths entrance is included in the price. at reception I was given an offer of paying half price for the entrance in the booking. It was saying that entrance to the thermal bath was free. By the way, the spa facilities were not working in the paying baths either. Breakfast is quite limited for a 4 star hotel. Considering all this, I think the price is expensive for the facilities offered. When I checked in my room, there was a curtain pole which fell, curtains included! I put it back and went to reception to tell them that the curtain pole was sick but it was not me who broke it.

I loved the location, the staff and the use of the swimming pools available from 7 am to 10 pm. The coffee at the breakfast was great.

Some of the facilities could use some renovation and are a bit old but this did not really detract from our enjoyment of our time there. The staff were also a mix of friendly and helpful resources and unhelpful individuals. Also, I strongly recommend booking reservations for dinner in advance in the town (including if you want to eat at the hotel restaurant).

The hotel was in a great location- centrally located and easy to walk to from the bus station. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel each morning and the thermal bath facilities in the hotel were wonderful- very relaxing and accessible for families.

We stayed in the room right next to the one I had last time. This one was less nice somehow. The window rubbed the curtain rod when opening. The mattresses slipped apart. The television arm thing was kind of janky. The window in the shower is poorly resolved. It was a good trip but room 301 does not present the hotel in its best light.

My wife and I were there for the pools and some hiking on this trip. I stayed in this hotel in September. I must have been sufficiently satisfied to return. Nothing in particular stood out for the good on this trip.

No coffee or tea facility in the room.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was very good, plenty of choice although coffee was lukewarm in the cannister, thankfully the staff provided us with fresh coffee separately. The location was perfect as we wanted to have direct access to the Alpentherme facilities.

I paid 270 usd per night without parking, no spa access and very poor breakfast. For 270usd i would expect at least fresh omelet, fresh crunchy bread, bigger choice of cheeses. Definitely breakfast not worth the hotel..

Given the value for money, the price of the room was too high. This hotel has nothing of a 4-star hotel. The hotel is old and not maintained. No slippers for the spa. Hotel spa not maintained (Walliser Therme as well). Some of the showers not working at the hotel spa and no electricity.

Breakfast room ran out of coffee at one point. Butter was very cold….. overall quite nice though.

Real bad smell in one of the room; Glass door of the shower shattered in million pieces cutting seriously hands and feet. Apparently, the 3rd time that happened; Staff really not welcoming and no one to provide a first aid kit. In compensation (after having written to the direction) they offered us a voucher to come back one night... no thanks!

The lounge closed so no possibility to have a drink (it was my 78th birthday!). Elevator to Alpentherme was broken so great difficulty for me. Very upsetting and staff just said they had no clue when it would be repaired. Been a guest over 30 years so no senior staff available.

Staff was rude and added extra charges, disagreements between the different members of staff and not transparent with the information given to the customer which leads to extra charges. Facilities, reception and restaurant in different locations from the room. property feels old and not as well maintained as it could be.
