Difficult to find Meal/drinks were pricey

An absolutely delightful location, tucked in away in the back streets and within a steep valley. Rooms were basic but comofrtable. Shared bathroom, but we were the only guests. Delicious meal.

If you dont want to eat dinner here then you need to eat beforehand as it is at least 3km from nearest restaurant. English is not the first language!

Enjoyed a one night stay here. Lovely location. Bed was comfy but near the floor! Breakfast was good. We had evening meal here, which was ok, if maybe a little expensive for what it was; but that was partly our fault due to my wifes dairy free requirement. We would stay again but would consider having evening meal beforehand. The lady did make a big effort to provide her what she needed at breakfast. Some reviews indicate that it is hard to find - I entered the street into sat nav and found it no bother, but it is up a longish unpaved road.

Just a breathtaking location and off the beaten path. The owners are extraordinarily friendly and accommodating, and a wonderful spot for walking or just getting away from everything. Comfortable apartment with everything we needed.

I have stayed at Da Erminia numerous times over the years and every time it surprises me how nice it is. It really has a holiday feeling to it. The town is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.

The accommodation was exactly what we were after: authentic village hospitality. So there was nothing we disliked.

When you first visit a is little bit difficult find their place and parking .

Stats are very exceptional offering services. Very kindly and highly recommend for families with children , very helpful and not greedy for money . I felt like I was at my own home so as my family.

Our sat nav directed us to a narrow road up the hills when coming from the north, which made us wonder where we were actually going... Upon arrival we realised that there was another winding road down to the village center which was much better. A bit expensive plain pasta in the evening, 14 Euro, but guess that is Switzerland for you. Tasted nice though :-).

Welcoming friendly personal pension high in the quiet mountains in Verdabbio, lovely view and surroundings. Very spacious clean apartment for 4. Comfortable beds. Generous breakfast. Cute cat Lena included as company during our meals. Stayed for one night.

The morning coffee, made with a small capsule machine, was not very strong or tasty. A fresh coffee, even made simply with a Moka pot, would really really appreciated.

This wonderful family-run BnB has a great location in the attractive mountainside village of Verdabbio. The room was large and warm, quiet and comfortable. Out of our windows, we had a beautiful view over the village and surrounding mountains, and we could also enjoyed watching the family's chickens across the way, and spotting the donkeys further up the slope. Downstairs, we could relax by the open log fire and chat with the family and Erminia herself, who came by each evening. The breakfast was varied and tasty: we particularly enjoyed the local honey and homemade grape jam. We also twice took up their offer of dinner; delicious and simple home-cooked meals, vegetarian in our case, consisting of several courses, with which we drank a bottle of the local Merlot. Highly recommended.

Excellent Breakfast with local cheese, prosciutto, honey and fruits. Lovely Hosts and a restaurant downstair which must be really good. Unfortunately we missed to eat there but the restaurant was really crowded in the evening.

We arrived at around 18:00. It was signposted, but we didnt know which door to go to and wandered around for a while until a neighbour helped us. Kids screeching downstairs and in the house and dogs barking outside (not sure if the dogs belonged to the host though) from the time we got there. My son is autistic and noise sensitive, so we had to leave after only 15 minutes or so and pay for somewhere else to stay. We were meant to be relaxing in the mountains, very disappointing.

Its advertised as a restaurant but it isnt, that part of it shut years ago apparently, we therefore couldnt get any food unless we went into town. The food offered was just pesto pasta which I enjoyed but the rest of our party didnt and at £20 was eye watering even for Switzerland.

Loved the position of the guest house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The apartment was a bit quirky but very spacious. Safe and covered parking for our motorbikes.
