Single bed. The windows don’t have screen and when I opened the window the street was noisy at night because of the restaurant/ hotel across the street

Staff were very helpful, location for hiking and taking the cable car. Close to train station and convenient to restaurant and convenience store Breakfast was versatile and delicious. I like how each room has an assigned table. I was able to leave my luggage in storage room when I went out for my hike.

Couldn't fault the hotel.

Everyone at the hotel was warm and friendly, and extremely helpful. This was my 3rd stay at this hotel, and the rooms and facilities have improved every time. The breakfast was superb, and the restaurant offered a varied evening menu at a reasonable price, and with excellent service. Engelberg is a very good centre for walking, and is well served by cablecars and other means of transport, and has a good free bus service around the resort. The Hotel Crystal is very well situated in the centre of the village, adjacent to the train station.

Very good breakfast, the restaurant serves the best pizza in Engelberg. Very helpful staff, lend us chargers, allowed to use the ski room to dry our hiking shoes, and turned on sauna late in the evening for us.

There was nothing bad.

The staff was very friendly and the cleanliness was superb. They came every day to clean our hotel room. The location was outstanding, the view and everything else was very good. I would really recommend this hotel to other people.

Value for money is very subjective, but any hotel in Switzerland is expensive for foreign visitors. It would have been also nice if we had been advised of the availability of sauna at the checkin and that it was available only in the afternoon and evening.

Breakfast was good with adequate choice. It was served in very nicely set up area.

Good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel is located close to the train station and free buses taking people to cable cars. An excellent hotel, all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Gave great dinner recommendations and allowed us to leave our car in their car park for the day after we had checked out. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend

It was very clean. Rooms were cosy and good. Kids loved to sleep in bunk bed. It is right behind engerlberg train station just 1 min walk. There is a good play area for small kid she played there most of the time. Washrooms were very clean even the common one outside the reception were clean

Housekeeping wanted to enter the room twice well before check-out time (11:00).

It's an excellent hotel. Adjacent to the railway station. Trains are only running a few times an hour. You won't be bothered by that. Very clean rooms with all needs. Good saunas.

We only had one very soft pillow each and the mattresses are a little firm - I understand this is all personal taste. 2 pillows would have been much more comfortable and I should have asked for another.

The reception staff, particularly the two sister owners, were lovely. My mother's bag was delayed by KLM so she was without walking sticks. The hotel lent her sticks, enabling her to stick to our original holiday plans. We had a room with three single beds, a good-sized bathroom with a lovely big walk in shower and a balcony with views of mountains on three sides. The buffet breakfast gave a good variety of food and drink - the selection of local cheeses and fresh bread and fruit salad was especially nice. The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. Some of the best meals I've ever had. The white asparagus and pork belly was delicious and the garlic and herb ravioli was mouth-watering. The position is perfect. The hotel is only 2 mins walk from the train station. Don't worry about train noise; it's the last stop on the line, there are only a few trains and only 2 lines - one in, one out. There is a free bus service from the train station to most of the cable car stops and sites.

More fruit salad option to have with yoghurt

Breakfast was excellent, fruit selection was limited however it is only a minor matter. Staff were excellent
