Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location and ease of getting to lake level was great. Staff were amazing. Comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was superb, and dinner was perfection. Would definitely stay again. The views were outstanding- city, lake and mountains.

United StatesLuckily we had a room with air..but it never really got very cool in the room… Our room faced the parking lot :/ Unfortunately the upgrade available was $300+ more—not worth it… The manager made us feel at home and helped sooo much when the others couldn’t Our bellman from Spain was fantastic!

Our stay at Château Gütsch was wonderful. Fantastic views, ideal to treat yourself and enjoy something special in Luzern. The staff is helpful and friendly. The Gütsch forest is a short walk away ( I highly recommend this), but the funicular takes you back to the city quickly. The rooms have everything you need. We were travelling with a baby (9 months) and they provided a cot, which was great, although the bed is big enough for three as well. The breakfast is very complete with good options for all. They provide a Luzern visitor card which includes transport all around the city, which suited our needs perfectly.

ChinaThe location of the hotel is really good, overlooking the whole city. The service at the hotel reception was very attentive, but some of the waiters at the restaurant had a poor attitude. Stayed in a family room but was woken up at 6am by a noise similar to a water pump outside the hotel, the room was very close to the train and the noise lasted for a long time. It is very unfortunate that this hotel is really noisy, otherwise the view and service are better.
