Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a nice sized room for the three of us adults, with two levels which gave a greater sense of space. We used the sauna which was a lovely and unexpected treat. Breakfast was included which was great.

The hotel staff is very friendly. Checking process very smoothly and parking is the cheapest at CHF 5 per night. The family room is on 3rd floor with loft arrangement with very high ceiling.

United KingdomIt was very warm and no AC, not the properties fault but be aware that you may find it hot in the summer months. We couldn’t leave the window open as the road was too noisy, a fan was provided. Breakfast was nice enough and there was vegan butter and toast, but a vegan yoghurt or milk would be good. I would have been happy to provide my own but there aren’t fridges in the room.
The location was amazing, staff friendly and check in etc was very easy. The view from the room was lovely, room was clean and plenty big enough for two of us. Compared to other places in Interlaken, this was a cost effective place to stay without having to stay in a hostel.

We liked the hotel and the hotel stuff very much. Everything was clean. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The parking facility was also up to the mark. The location was absolutely amazing! Ten minutes walk to the city center where you have so many beautiful shops and restaurants with magical view of the mountains and tranquil streams of canals.

The location is good. 105 bus stop is just in front of the hotel and train station is 15 mins of walk away. The room is pretty quiet and WiFi is fast.

Location was great, easy access to Interlaken West and good shops and restaurants close by. The staff were amazing and SO helpful! Breakfast was a very nice selection of custom machine coffee, juices, breads, meat & cheese, and fruit/yogurt items.

Location was good- 10 mins walk from the train station and there’s a beautiful forest within walking distance (along Schulhausstrase). The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Generous buffet breakfast and good coffee.

RomaniaI didn't like that the room was on the ground floor and our "balcony" was the parking zone. We had to stay all the time with the curtains drawn.
The staff was very friendly and helped us during our stay. The location was nice for us, in a quiet neighborhood, with 10 minutes walk to Interlaken West train station and 5 minutes to a big Coop supermarket. The room was big and clean and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was nice.

The breakfasts were great...the mattresses firm...nice cotton linen on the bed. Whenever we wanted more bread, eggs, yoghurt...the staff were always on hand to provide. Excellent service. Nice friendly staff...always available to chat and help with planning our day.
