Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The location was fabulous- we loved that the area was quite yet easy to walk to old town and the busier Interlaken west. Public transportation was an easy walk to bus and train. The staff was so helpful with transportation and touring activities. 😊

United StatesI was on the first floor. I could hear squeaky noise from someone walking on 2nd floor. If you are a light sleeper, you should ask to be on the upper floor. Also, don't forget to remove the "Do not disturb" sign if you want to request clean towels or something. I wanted to sleep in a bit but forgot to remove the sign when i woke up. I called to request an extra pillow and a clean towel. They couldn't provide me a clean towel because I had the do not disturb sign on the door when housekeeper came to clean my room earlier. But they brought me the extra pillow I requested, though. Also, if you one of those who likes to grab an apple or maybe an extra slice of bread after you have your breakfast and bring it to your room for later, don't do it because they will scold you lol. I couldn't finish a croissant and I didn't want them to throw it away so I wrapped it in a napkin and walked out on my way to the elevator one of the kitchen staff saw me and she told me that food was for dining in only. Of course, I quickly apologized, but her response was, "Next time you will have to pay". I wish that she would give me the benefit of the doubt that I wasn't trying to steal a croissant. I would understand if she saw me walking out with two plates full of breakfast but it was just a croissant. I walked in to the dining room that morning a hotel guest but walked out a croissant theft. Unfortunately, we were near the lobby area, so there were other people witnessing the incident. I was so embarrassed. It ruined my day a little bit 😞 but I respect the rules, though I understand why they couldn't bring me the towel, and I understand that breakfast is to be eaten in the dining room only. I respect the rules, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about the rules. I was just embarrassed about the croissant thing, that's all. CanadaNo fridge in room, staff are nice but strict especially during breakfast, you are seated no sitting where you want, they watch over you to make sure your basically doing things correctly at breakfast. Lots of families with noisy kids you can hear in your room guessing because of cost of hotel.
Great location, bus stop right out front, price was very good for Interlaken/Swiss as it’s expensive. Rooms was good and had almost everything we needed.

New ZealandThe room was very warm, even though we left the courtyard door open as late as possible. The duvet/cover was very thick. Though the fan helped, it would have been nice to have a light blanket instead of the duvet.
The room has a small courtyard, which was very pleasant to sit out on during the evening. The view from the breakfast room was of the mountains and absolutely spectacular. Good breakfast.
