A lovely chalet in a superb location - rustic on the outside, and very clean modern and well equipped on the inside. Very friendly owners. This will be our first choice when returning to Lauterbrunnen.

Chalet Elza has amazing views with a homely feel that was well equipped. It was great to be out of the business of Lauterbrunnen. Host was amazing and very quick to respond to any questions.

The one and only thing that was challenging were the low ceilings and doorways for my 6 foot 2 husband.

We loved staying at Chalet Eliza. Dave was a fantastic host. He met us at the train station, drove us to the chalet and helped us throughout our trip with planning. He was extremely responsive and wanted to ensure we had a wonderful stay in Lauterbrunnen. The Chalet is charming and in a picturesque area. Easy walk into town and the train station. When we come back we will definitively stay her again!!!

Toilet did not had a shower gel.

Team received us very well, helped to carry our luggage to chalet. Provided us car parking space for good period. Over all it was a great stay.

It really felt like home. It would be good if we stayed longer. Dave was helpful carrying luggages. He also messaged me before arriving to the house and the message was surprisingly turkish. We really liked his way of caring for the customers.

Absolutely nothing we didn't like.

This was our best stay during our Swiss trip. Stayed 4 days at this comfy chalet with the most incredible views and surroundings. Its a 15 minute walk to the railway station and you can take a forest road as suggested by the owner Dave and its beautiful,along a stream. Had a nice little fireplace in the living room with electric heater in the two bedrooms upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen means you can whip up your own food, especially since most shops close down by 6pm in this area. Theres a common room for doing your laundry, a sauna and even a hot tub outside which you can rent looking at the beautiful scenery. To top it all, Dave is an excellent host. Went out of his way to pick up our luggage from the railway station, since we had a sudden change in plans due to unstable weather. He also dropped us off at the station at the end of the stay

Low doorway between kitchen and living room - no problem for me but my 6ft partner banged his head a couple of times when he forgot to duck!

Great location with a view of the mountains and a lovely stroll into town. Well equipped house, gorgeous bedrooms, fantastic log burner and a hot tub and sauna! Exceptional hosts, very friendly and full of great tips and local knowledge.

That we didnt stay longer

Was an idyllic chalet with gorgeous views and only about 800m from the town centre (can walk or there is a bus). Was very warm and comfortable. Our family of 4 loved it. Very close to ski slopes (we only tobogganed). Kitchen had everything you could need and was a washing machine and dryer. Great for a family with lots of washing to do.

The chalet is fantastic - only word of caution is short entrances to rooms so watch your head if you’re 6’ or taller. In any event you will enjoy this accommodation.

Beautiful location. Very comfortable. I hope to return to Lauterbrunnen and this is where I would plan to stay again. Owners are really fantastic.

The chalet is nice and cozy with all the necessary amenities that you need for a family of 4. Just a short comfortable walk by the river to Lauterbrunnen and Dave, Patricia and Wilson are excellent hosts! They were very helpful during our stay.

The property is in the heart of the beautiful places in Switzerland like Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald! It’s very homey and cozy, as the fireplace was a wow factor. The facilities are complete— from bbq place, washing, cooking, sauna and an outdoor tub. parking is available before the property too! Also, you’ll hear the sound of the river and have a perfect view of the mountains and trees. Train station, supermarkets and restaurants are very near. town centre is accessible by foot and by car. proximity to everything a big plus. The host is very accommodating and ensured that we all had a lovely stay. We’ll come back again in summer!

Low ceiling (especialy central door) and narrow shower room. But we are okay with that.

Lovely house, realy warm inside, heater every room, fireplace in living room. There's sauna, washing machine, also table tenis Beautiful view of the valley infront of the house, with Wilson (friendly cat) great us in the morning 😍 Dave was really helpfull and cooperative during ourstay. Thankyou for your kindness Bus stop infront of the house every 1 hour, last bus before late night from the station is 17.30. Better to finish your trip before dark so that you can walk beside the river, otherwise you need to walk beside the road
