Cleanliness needs improvement. The cooking pans were not cleaned from previous guests, and there was leftover outside the trash bin. I also found some hair on one of the bed.

Very nice family who is there to cater your needs. Across the street from a train and in a busy road, but it didn’t bother in anyway. Big rooms. The kitchen is sufficient for cooking needs. Clean.

Two of the bed rooms and the sofa have some moldy smell. I think this is due to the location being in the basement. However, this is purely personal. The kids did not notice any moldy smell and enjoyed the stay. Only my aunt, my sister-in-law and I noticed it. It would be better if shampoo and soap are provided.

Location is just opposite the train station. The property is very spacious and host very friendly. She even provided us a new bottle of cooking oil upon request as we forgot to buy.

Close to Grindelwald. 3 bedrooms, was able to use a washing machine and dryer to catch up on washing! Lovely hearing the rushing water right outside the windows!

Unfortunately not worth the money we paid. The apartment was different from the one advertised on the photos. The apartment we were given was dirty and poorly maintained. The light was not working in the bathroom when we arrived, the issue was resolved after contacting the host, however reappeared 10min later. Some glasses and towels were dirty. The kitchen is old and needs some reparation. The oven was dirty and malfunctioning. The freezer door was broken. One room had no window and some spiderweb on the ceiling. The smell was unpleasant. Our apartment was downstairs on the side of a loud mountain river. With the windows closed it was no problem, however it was not possible to sleep with open windows.

Great location to explore this beautiful area. Spacious enough for 6 people.

Super cosy place right near to Grindlewald centre. The hosts are really welcoming and even went out of their way to pick us up some adblue when our car failed on us. 100% recommend staying here in this beautiful chalet. We had a great stay and if we are ever in Grindlewald again we will definitely stay here.

The noise level is very intense. The water fall right by the window is non stop noise very loud, since it was so hot we had yo open the window. Even closed window, the noise is still there. On the other side of the appartement, there is the busy road and the train that stop, as well as the road barrier for the train, so break noise from the train, ding noise from the barrier, train noise period, and road noise. It is saddly not a peaceful place.

The appartement is big. Everything we needed and more. Felt like home away from home.

1. Old Bedding: Unfortunately, the stay was marred by the quality of the bedding in one of the rooms. Old and with an unpleasant smell, it significantly worsened the quality of sleep. 2. Thin Blankets: Despite the heating, the thin blankets did not provide the necessary warmth in cool weather, forcing me to look for an additional blanket in another room.

The lights were all pretty dim, which was a bit frustrating at times, and the ceilings were low. Fine for the women in our group but if you have a tall person, it will likely be a lot of head bumping. Also there was no coffee provided for the very specific coffee machine.

Great value, plenty of room for our 4 adults, 6 yr old, and baby. Very clean and comfortable beds. Would book again.
