Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomAs covered before the chalet is well equipped and comfortable. Two things to mention, neither of which were an issue for us, but might be worth knowing. There is no microwave, if that is important to you. Also, whilst there are toilets on each floor (basement, ground floor and first floor), only the bathroom on the first floor has a shower (both a shower cubicle plus a hand held shower over the bath). This wasn't a problem for us, despite there being six of us in the chalet, so in practice was fine. Thanks again for a great stay, the chalet was perfect for our needs.
The chalet is in a great location in Le Chable - quiet and with it's own parking space. It's a charming, traditional design but still bright inside and quite roomy. There are three main bedrooms; one double in the basement (which is naturally darker), a double on the first floor, along with a room with a bunkbed. There is also a separate room on the first floor that has a fold down sofa and lots of cupboard space (so can have four bedrooms if needed, or just use for storage). The chalet is well equipped and in good condition, with a beautiful old stone wood burner (which we didn't use) . There is a laundry room, with washing machine, which was handy. The hosts - Alexandra and Yvan - are lovely, quick to respond to messages and very helpful. The chalet is very close to the local square with cafes. There is a boulangerie and supermarket nearby. The gondola up to Verbier is a 10/15 minute walk. We would definitely stay again.

United KingdomThere was nothing to 'not like' - my only suggestion would be that a filter coffee maker would make life easier in the mornings when 5 people want a cup of coffee at the same time! Also a spray cleaner would be helpful to wipe down kitchen surfaces and dining table?
Excellent location and comfortable, clean, well equipped chalet. Owners were very responsive to all communication, from booking onwards, and extremely helpful when we had a member of our party who became unwell, arranging a taxi to transport friend to Martigny

United KingdomWe found it a little bit tricky to get the key out of the key box - other than that it was great.
The chalet was lovely - a lot more space than we are used to having with 4 bedrooms (the kids were able to have a room each and my husband and I used the 4th Bedroom as a dressing room. Great location just 10 mins walk from the ski lift. We much preferred being in Le Chable rather than in Verbier (much quieter and more chilled out) and a lot better value for money as well. Great selection of kitchen equipment. Thanks for a great stay
