The location is excellent very close to train station with the mountains in the center of the landscape, very friendly staff, views from rooms are amazing. Highly recommended.

Lack of signage to the reception desk on first floor, need to get down to the ground floor with luggage via stairs when the access via restaurant (with lift access) is closed

Hotel is very near to train station, like a one minute walk. Staffs are very accommodating. I forgot to bring slippers and toothbrush with me and they happily provided it. Buffet Breakfast is also superb.

A flight of stairs up to reception, but there was a lift in the restaurant adjacent.

Great location close to the bus and train station, but very quiet at night. Great buffet breakfast, everything you'd expect. Close to a Co-Op for groceries. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly.

The location was perfect! We came by train and only had to walk a short distance to the hotel. We loved our room , it was spacious and clean and the Eiger View was breathtaking! The daily breakfast was excellent!

Badly, there was a missing point like... hair dusts... attached to my bedside. I was alone and man, so it could not come from mine. There should've taken more concentration about cleaning

The location was undeniably appropriate for tourists as well as for me. It took roughly 2 to 3mints by walk to Grindelwald station. And under 10mints to Fristbahn station. I got an arranged room facing the road, so the view from my room was so perfect that the 2 nights in here were impressive

Location was great in the centre of Grindelwald opposite the main station. Very quiet and spacious rooms.

The location was excellent. We loved the breakfast each morning. The balcony on the second level was also wonderful to enjoy the incredible view of Grindelwald over a glass of wine or two! The staff was second to none Just lovely all around !! We would absolutely stay at Hotel Grindelwald again!!

It was one of my favourite places to stay along my trip around Europe. Right on the main street of town and close to everything. Clean spacious room with a balcony with an incredible view. Great selection for breakfast every morning, and staff were lovely.

i would have liked there to be screens on the windows. it was unusually hot when we were there and when i left the windows open at night bugs would fly in.

the room was new and clean, and larger than i expected for Switzerland. perfect location just a two minute walk from the main train station. the staff were all friendly and helpful. great value.

Hotel experience was even more better if breakfast was served before 7:30 especially for mountain climbers who wish to start early.

Good location, close to Grindelwald station. Car parking nearby the hotel was very convenient for car traveler. Hotel receptionist was very kind and flexible to my request.

The old bath tube is an old style, not very easy to be used by persons with reduced mobility.

Location is excellent to access everything. We had a spacious, comfortable and tidy room, with a balcony facing spectacular views to Eiger mountain. We liked the frame of the bed. It is a nice touch for a hotel room in the mountains. The sound insulation of the room is very good. The staff is awesome, either cleaning, breakfast, reception or restaurant, no question was a problem to them. They provided immediately a kettle and a fan to the room upon our request. Reception is on first floor but it may be accessed by elevator through the restaurant. It was indeed a lovely stay and definitely returning to this hotel.

Great location! In the middle of the city and few steps away from the cable car First and in front of the autobus terminal. Great View of Eiger from the balcony. Helfpul Staff and good service!

Need to take a steep stairs goto second floor reception desk unless u know the elevator is inside the first floor restaurant. LOL
