We were in the Heidi apartment two years ago and we came back again. Each time we were a week. I didn't try to look for anything else. Lovely apartment well equipped. The location is excellent to travel to different areas in Switzerland and the charming city of Lucerne. Plus, lovely Lisa makes us feel like we've met a beloved family member. When we arrived, we found different types of food that indicate an investment of thought and the desire to sweeten the stay. She also left us a gift and a heart-warming blessing. Highly recommended, you will want to come back again and again. Many hugs 🤗 to Lisa .

Nothing at all - it was one of our very favourite things about our trip, and coming to the Alps that is definitely saying something.

Just a note that there is no ac in the bedroom but there is a fan so it was ok.

Apartment Heidi is equipped with everything you need during the stay. Ample parking is available, and Sarnen is a beautiful and strategic place to stay. When we arrived we were greeted by Lisa and they prepared some welcome groceries for us which was amazing. Before we left we even received some water and chocolates for the onward journey.

We noticed there were no insect screens and were wondering if bugs would come in. Fortunately there were not much. Our deluxe unit is on the ground floor. We could hear the tenants above us stomping around.

As other reviews have mentioned, the place is immaculate, full of great quality appliances and essential supplies, including basic groceries! We were picked up from Sarnen Nord station, followed by a short tour to the old town. All necessary info has been provided. Lisa ask checked periodically to make sure everything’s fine. We will most definitely recommend this place to people we know!

It would have been nice to have a cleaning service as standard. You can still get this at additional cost if you communicate with the host in advance. But this is just a small preference. I have no complaints. It was a great stay!!

Excellent location and very friendly and helpful host. Balcony with great mountain views. Kitchen and bathroom pre-stocked with some food and supplies to get you started.

- Nice comfortable apartment with high quality furnishings and appliances - Kitchen is fully equipped and has everything we need (even has bbq facilities outside) - Apartment is very clean - there is a shared washing machine and tumble dryer - lots of complimentary food and drinks available when we checked in - close to sarnen lake where they have children's playground and swimming facilities - best of all, the host (JP) is very welcoming and feels like family. He drove us around for a quick tour of the town, drove my nephew to the hospital when he got sick, and brought us to the farm where we were able to get freshly laid eggs and organic honey

Absolutely nothing...perfect

Everything was perfect...starting from the lovely host...the location was close to Lucerne (15 minutes), Mount Titlus (35 minutes), Mount Pilatus Rail Station (10 minutes), Zurich Central Train Station (1 hour) The apartment itself was beyond exceptional..quality furniture..quality bedding...fully stocked kitchen with literally every possible amenity including dishwasher and washing machine. Host was beyond lovely...stocked the apartment with food and goodies especially for the kids..including eggs..milk..cereal.. juice...fruits and chocolate and cookies!!! To name a few. Host is also available to offer advice on excursions Free Parkikg available on site Probably the best accommodation I've stayed in would highly recommend and would have no issues staying here again in the future.

The place was very cute and nice, only 3 minutes from Coop and Lidl. The hosts were very nice and prepared for us bread, milk, fruits and more staff. There was everything you need: spices, oil, coffee and more. Really recommended

Lisa (the owner/manager) was wonderful. She met us and showed us through our apartment. It was perfectly located, the fridge and pantry stocked with some wonderful essentials that helped us with breakfast. Even a bottle of NZ wine. The second bedroom was not a bedroom as such, a bed in the corner of the lounge room which I’m told is a Swiss thing. Not a big deal for us except I fell really ill and having a seperate bedroom would have helped from a quarantine perspective. That aside, a great stat had. Thank you Lisa and JP.

Everything was perfect - this was our most enjoyable stay in many years of vacationing in different parts of the world. JP is a wonderful host and Sarnen and the apartment were just perfect. I would love to come back and visit again!

I have never met a host like JP! He made us feel like home the minute we arrived. His place is very clean, tidy and most of all comfortable. All cooking utensils are available for use. It even has rice cooker! He goes beyond any other host i have ever met. After a loong flight and journey there, it is very nice to have bread, jam, fruit, milk and juice ready for you and your family. I was blown away how thoughtful and kind JP was as a host. He took the time to explain everything we needed to know about his place. He even gave my husband a tour of the town. His place is surrounded by nature. Parking is free, laundry and dryer is available for use. He even provided detergent. I would definitely go back and stay at his place again. I recommend his place for anyone who is planning to visit Sarnen. You will not regret it. Thats the view from the bedroom window.

There is nothing to not like this apartment, but a suggestion that owner should make arrangements for pick up and drop from Zurich/Luzern at an affordable price like 200 to 250 Franks for pick up and drop to Zurich airport, or 50 Frank for pick up and drop to Luzern, like we have pick up/drop facilities at an affordable price in India if good hotels are far from main airport. It costed me 115 Frank by Bolt taxi from Zurich to apartment and 90 Frank from apartment to Zurich airport by Train. Generally Taxi charges around 200 franks to Zurich airport from apartment. But, apartment is at very good location for travelling with lesser luggages and using trains. Thanks to the owner for always there to drop to the closest station ‘Sarnen Nord’, which is at 10 minutes walking distance.

Neat and clean apartment ( 1 big bed room , one big hall and kitchen with very big terrace ) having nice views from all sides, feeling of actual Switzerland from apartment. They provided lots of fruits, a Wine bottle, a beer bottle, milk and other all necessary items to live there. I loved the way JP and his team thought of what we travellers from other countries need for a day to start with…

The apartment was neat and clean. It was one of the best apartment I have ever stayed. The owners think about the every detail, there is even a PS4 at the apartment. Also the owner advised us to visit some good spot in vicinity of the house which we missed during our planning. Last but not the least their welcome and goodbye gifts are very thoughtful.
