Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe price is higher than what you’d expect but sadly typical for Interlaken. It is about 10-15 min walk to the nearest mode of public transport so just consider this when booking. We were also sadly awoken every morning because you can hear every step and word spoken outside your door from other guests. Very little sound protection in the bedrooms.
The property is beautiful, nestled at the end of the woods with Mountain View. The breakfast is pleasant. The bathrooms are clean. The bedrooms were roomy, airy and comfortable with lovely balconies. It felt very homely.

United KingdomIf you don’t have own transport, then you’ve a 20min (very pleasant, flat) walk to Wilderswil, or 25min walk downhill/uphill to Interlaken West. Could do with one more shared shower per floor.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms and good beds. Great views of the Jungfrau region. Own restaurant (ok breakfast items, but not too much dinner choice though). Brewery next door!

United StatesThe hallways resonate quite a bit and if you have loud, disrespectful neighbors, it could be hard to sleep. However, when I notified the staff, they let me know whom to contact on site if it happened again. It was fairly hot and humid going up the stairs. It would help to have a stronger fan for better air circulation. The current fan in the room wasn't very strong.
Staff was very helpful, informative, and super kind. Loved the kitchen and laundry facilities. When we asked for ice because we were feeling overheated, they gladly provided us a pitcher of some. The breakfast was also very good. Interlaken is expensive, so what you get for the price is a good deal.
