The restaurant was ok, but like Switzerland in general it is vastly overpriced. Wine is stupid money. I object to paying for parking on a hotel site. It should be included.

Beds were hard and quite uncomfortable. Heavy winter duvet was too warm for summer. Chairs in breakfast room also uncomfortable even though the style suits the room. Shortage of bread at breakfast but waiter managed to deliver some eventually.

The only drawback was the beds were extremely firm, almost hard.

Within walking distance of the train station, Hotel Bernina 1865 is a beautiful building with lovely views. The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast buffet was delicious with many food choices and the breakfast room is simply stunning. We had dinner on the last night of our stay in the Pizzeria Bernina Restaurant that is part of the hotel. Veronica, one of the people who helped us at the restaurant was lively and quirky, bringing us olives she had made with herbs and oranges - delicious! The pizza was superb, as was the panna cotta.

Gorgeous old hotel , takes you back in time . Great location in Samedan just a few minutes away from St. Moritz We took a three bedroomed apartment , and it was well equipped and very spacious Great breakfast in a lovely breakfast room

There is no proper cleaning done to our room. There are many tiny glass pieces floating in floor which is not visible. One of them injured my foot very badly. But worst part is hotel doesn't have first aid set or service.

Property is near to samedan train station. Views from hotel is awesome. Good old style hotel . Washroom has jacuzzi tub which stole the show.

Its very well located in the middle of little Samedan, with walking distance from the train station and the main streets of the old city. Also appreciated how friendly everyone at the hotel was, specially to my parents who could speak no local language or English. The hotel has free parking, which is quite convenient. Lastly, the room we were in was simple but very comfortable, with enough space for us and the dog, good storage, spacious bathroom with amenities. In all, a good place to stay and explore the Engadin.

We were on basement floor and room was quite cold. We couldn’t find a radiator or any way heat was getting to the room (no vents, fans, etc). The thermostat didn’t warm the room. We didn’t spend much time there so did t reflect our stay.

Loved the little town of Sameden and convenience to train station to go to St Moritz. Hotel is charming, extremely clean and attached restaurant is nice (wonderful coal fired pizza). Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast room is really pretty but very cold! The breakfast was held up by scrambled eggs and bacon but the way the eggs were cooked was more like a soup of eggs than a normal scrambled kind. Missing fresh bread and fresh croissants (those they had were dry) and vegetables. The juice, the cereal, the coffee was good 👏

That we could all stay together in 1 app. The view is Beautiful. The spa is nice. I like that I have restaurant possibility within the hotel. Easy to access.

the town and hotel bar are not very lively - even in peak season there were few people around. low energy. check out is way too early spa is not open until 3 rooms are a bit sparsely furnished for 4 stars

There was no lift at the building that our rooms were located and we had to carry our luggages up two flights of stairs as our rooms were located on level 2.
