The hotel does not have elevator. To get from 1 floor to the next floor, you have to climb 2 sets of stairs with 8 steps - making a total of 16 steps. This becomes q cumbersome if you have luggages.

It just after mountain hike.. Our room was in 4th floor, we had to go back and forth the stairs There were no elevators.. bit hard thing for us.

The hotel refused to provide a taxi, during business hours, so we had to make two trips from the train to the hotel.

We booked the room thru booking.com and it said we had a balcony but we did not get one🙁-we were disappointed.

We luv’d the church view from our big windows, great shower with plenty of hot water, lots of storage, clean room each day, friendly staff and location.

The bathroom In the double room is much too small, and doesn’t have good air circulation. They need to provide at least a coffee/tea kettle, it would make the mornings much easier.

The location is great. Very close to train station and other attractions and centrally located for exploring the area. I loved the views, hearing the bell, and being able to stay in Wengen at value cost. The staff was great.

Showing its age, in need of a remodel. Shower water temperature on 3rd floor fluctuates greatly. Only half the rooms have balconies.

Since the building is mostly made from wood, it was pretty noisy when neighbours walked around, especially when staff was cleaning rooms, as the closet with bedsheets was on the other side from where I laid my head in bed. My afternoon nap was therefore not possible.

The view from my window was amazing. I loved spending time sitting in front of my window every evening. The staff was helpful and especially Viktoria helped me a lot by giving helpful recommendations on spots to see in Wengen and where to eat. The room had a very cosy feeling and made me feel at home. Breakfast had everything I needed and was available at an excellent price compared to the costs of breakfast outdoors.

The reception staff were not friendly at all, it alsmot felt like thay were doing us a favour. the bed was not comfy at all mattress way too soft. There are no facilities at the hotel and you had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage with no help from the staff (an elderly gentleman struggled on his own with no help)

The location was execellent. The restaurant staff were really superb and service excellence. The food was great. the room view was stunning and a good high pressure shower.

It would’ve been nice to have an electric jug in the room to be able to make tea or coffee. The mattress needed replacing. It quite hard and you could feel some springs when you lay on it.

It was in the beautiful town of Wengen and was a pretty, historic hotel with picturesque views over the valley.

Another magical place in the Alps However, really disappointed they didn’t even provide any sort of coffee or tea in the mornings for their occupants, especially galling when you consider the prices. Shared bathrooms got dirty quick with a full house.

The location is right next to the main street of Wengen, we got a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. The hotel is near shops and restaurants.

It was loud whenever the guests above us would move around. In addition, it was hot and no way to get air moving throughout the room. Having the windows open meant the sun blasted in and the cigarette smoke from the patio below would seep in.

Our room had a lovely view of the snow-covered Alps. There was an option to purchase breakfast daily, which was laid out very nicely in a cozy dining room.
