KazakhstanWe loved everything about the hotel. First thing to know — it is located on the first station Bort of the same gondola that goes up to the First. The biggest advantage of the hotel's location is that it has a direct open view on Eiger and Grindelwald. You literally feel like a bird. The view from the window and a little area with loungers in front of our room were breathtaking. Literally, no words can describe this view. Staying at the hotel was already a gem of the trip. The breakfast was very nice. Everything was tasty, the restaurant interior is cozy. We loved it.

United Arab EmiratesNo coffee or tea machine inside the room. Checkout at 9 pm and check in at 3. That's not even full 24 hours that you are paying for. Breakfast options was very less.
The hotels location is incredible. We were driving and trust me driving to the location is not for faint hearted. It's located at very top of the mountain. It's secluded. We stayed a night here but wanted to stay more. The hotel is extremely pretty and the rooms were decent size. The interiors we fell in love with. The hotel staff at the reception was very helpful, smiling and friendly. They also have restaurant where you can eat food. There is mutliple activities that you can do. Everything was great. Ample parking available. This hotel is not located at city centre and only way to go down is by either gondola, or car.

United StatesOur stay at Alpinhotel Bort was truly an unforgettable experience, despite being snowed in due to a freak snowfall in April 2024. This was our first night and our first time in Switzerland, and the hotel provided an authentic Swiss experience that we will cherish forever. The location of the hotel is ideal, perfectly situated close to the Grindelwald-First gondola station, making it a convenient spot for ski-in/ski-out access. The staff were wonderful, offering excellent customer service that made us feel right at home. Our bedroom was cozy, comfortable, clean, and pleasant, providing a perfect retreat during the snowy weather. Although we were unable to fully take in the majestic mountain views due to the clouds and snow, the surroundings were still beautiful and serene. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a variety of delicious options to start our day off right. The assortment of cheese and bread was complemented by their excellent coffee, adding to the delightful culinary experience. The hotel's amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, a cozy restaurant, and a panoramic terrace, enhanced our stay. We particularly appreciated the hotel's commitment to offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience, even under unexpected weather conditions. Great hotel! Located next to the Bort cable car station, it is a good choice for those who want to spend a day at the first mountain. The room is spacious and clean with a direct view of the mountain, and the breakfast and dinner are also great. Very good experience.

South KoreaWhen the door closes, it won't lock itself. I need to make sure I locked it before I go to bed.
It is a fantastic place. The children enjoyed the playground and snow sledding. The adult was healed by coffee, wine, and the surrounding scenery. Dinner prepared a special dish for the children. The bedding and towels were clean and smelled good. The staff was humorous and kind and always greeted us with their best.
