No bar fridge in the room, would be handy to have cold drinks and snacks to enjoy on balcony - but this is only small detail and we still loved our stay

It was a bit further from town than other hotels. The elevator stops between floors so there is still a need to drag bags up/down stairs.

The hotel had a lovely setting with views overlooking the valley and mountains. Staff were very helpful and attentive.

No TV to watch the Olympics, the price and not the greatest internet service. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Wonderful and accommodating staff. The place was a little dated, but quaint. A nice walk from the train station, we took advantage of the luggage service when we left. Great breakfast and absolutely fantastic view. Also, Wengen was a great choice overall especially for family. We looked into Grindlewald and so glad we chose Wengen, great small village with events at night, activities for kids in town and not a far distance to other options locally. We would definitely choose Wengen again.

Room a bit small, but very practical. I would suggest to replace pillows, they seemed to need replacement. And a small soap on the shower would help on increasing confort.

The property offered me everything that I was looking for as a solo female traveller: safety, cleanliness, good food options and OUTSTANDING location and landscape. I targeted for a place very high on the mountain plateau from where to see the instagrammable view of the valley. I chose a single room panorama view Jungfrau and it was the best choice. Price was good for that room, but room was very small, practical for sleeping in, wooden type of room, very clean. But let’s be honest, we are coming there for going outside more than staying in the room, for this reason the room was fine for me. If you look for a big room, glamorous, than this is not the place. Food was good and breakfast was enough to satisfy my needs. People were also very nice and welcoming. I am reading reviews and I am surprised to read about “ bossy attitude “- it’s just cultural specifics , we should all understand we are different from country to country. For me all the people there were super nice and supportive. I am considering coming back there during winter. Mu stay was in August 2024. Thank you for making me feel welcome there!

It wasn’t a problem for us, but you must be able to walk 10 minutes to and from the train station, involving small hills. However, you should take advantage of them taking you to/from the train station when you have luggage.

Yes, the view is amazing. It is in a quiet area, and is perfectly located for exploring the entire Bernese Oberland area.

Customer service could have been better, there should be coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Tap water should be free at meal times!! Decor is dated.

The Hotel Bellevue has probably the best location in Wengen. It's at the end of town with a beautiful view of the valley and is peaceful and quiet. The staff are excellent and welcoming, and the restaurant fantastic.

The Jacuzzi was broken, I was looking forward to using it. When I didn't partake in the hotel dinner, I wasn't allowed to eat my own food in the common areas, which was unfortunate. I had to eat my dinner in my hotel room,

The staff thought it was strange that we requested coffee before the breakfast. They were willing to get it for us-but maybe not as accommodating as you would expect at a very nice hotel.

The hotel is very basic. There is no tv or kettle in the room. It’s also a bit of a steep walk to Wengen itself.

This hotel is all about the view. However we only saw it briefly during our stay due to the weather.
