Bad smell in the bathroom at first when we entered the room but after some water went through, it disappeared so I guess it happens.

Very good breakfast - diverse selection of food. Super friendly and helpful staff. They let us leave the baggage after check out. Good location - really close to the bus stop taking you straight to the Locarno main station. Clean, comfy room aligned with the room description on booking website. Highly recommended!

The room was very hot. They had a fan but it didn’t do much in the way of cooling us off.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Nuno knew alot about the area and was always willing to help. The room was spotless and the rainfall shower was amazing! The breakfast had many delicious options and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy your meal. The bus stop was down the street.

This is the third time that we stay in this lovely hotel and we will come back if we have the chance. Room size and facilities are just perfect; easy to get to via public transport; playing corner outside for kids; delicious breakfast. The most valuable feature, which makes us come over and over again is the staff. Very friendly, kind and helpful. They really make you feel comfortable and at home.

Excellent place. This hotel is Top quality in a modest setting (no gold and plastic blingbling). The shower is excellent, the best I have ever had (and I had a lot!), it is practical, easy to use, and offers enough space. The parking place under the building is very good and safe, there is a good lift to every floor. You'll meet an excellent team here, they enjoy pleasing the guests to the max. Host Nuno is correct and helpful with a smile. He'll give you free public transportation tickets and a card for a 10% discount in a good restaurant. At the booking, we had requested a vegetarian breakfast and were spoiled with a great choice of good and healthy stuff that was arranged especially for us. This is excellent quality for a very modest price.

Hotel Bellavista Locarno exceeded our expectations. The bed was one of the most comfortable I ever slept on. The shower has the perfect pressure and temperature regulation. The towels are big, soft and clean. Breakfast is diverse and abundant (and the croissants were delicious!). The complimentary Caffe Borbone capsules in the room were really good. But above all, we want to highlight Nuno's wonderful attention and his staff simpathy.

Nuno welcomed us very warmly to the hotel. The Breakfast was very good. The location was pretty good. You can reach the city center really good by foot. Also there is a bustop nearby. The rain shower was also very nice.

Everything, but especially the host Nuno. He provided us all the necessary tips and key places to visit to make our stay perfect! Easily communicated with the city center, and if you don't want to walk, the bus stop is just around the corner. Definitely next time in Locarno I will check to stay there again!

Our host Nuno was extremely friendly and helpful, coming early to enable us to check in before the standard time. The room was very clean and comfortable, with unexpected extras (like free coffee). Breakfast was varied and fresh and better than I have had in more expensive hotels.

lack of AC was a real deal breaker. It was hard to sleep at night and heat was unbearable - 30 C. inside the room. Ventilator was noisy so had to be switched off for the night. I think investing in AC is a must...

Good location, friendly owner, normal breakfast - not too many options, but fresh and good. Clean room, good shower and bathroom. mini bar was handy too, even if a bit expensive water. Was good value for money. We stayed three of us. Space was limited - 15sq.m. but for one night or two it is OK.

Very cosy place which impressed with the attention to detail and feeling welcomed! Clean and well equiped rooms, lovely Ticino-style breakfast and super friendly personnel….and an amazing Hydrangeas garden🤩.
