Dani’s hospitality is the best. The hotel vibes are very warm and comfortable. The room is clean and smell really nice. The view is amazing.

Dani and Linda are the perfect hosts. They obviously love what they do! And their property is an absolute gem in beautiful Beatenberg - one of the most beautiful spots on earth. Dani spent some time with me when I checked in just to show me around the place. Nobody does that any more. There was even a little stuffed Berner Alpenhund on the bed named Heidi to greet me. I got to meet the real Heidi, too. What a sweet dog. This is a unique property, and Dani and Linda are unique hosts. I loved this place!

We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Fassbind! It was the most memorable stay we had in Switzerland. Dani was so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed, including helping us plan how to spend our days around the weather etc. The extra little touches by Dani made the stay very special. The breakfast was really good too and the views from the hotel were phenomenal! The hotel was only a few minute walk from the bus stop to interlaken/up the mountain. Thank you Hotel Fassbind for the most lovely stay!

The fact that we had to continue our trip and could not stay longer..

The hosts, Dani, Linda and Heidi are just absolutely phenomenal! We arrived as guests and left as friends. They go the extra mile in everything they do! The rooms were perfect and the location and view is priceless! The hot-tub overlooking the mountains and lake is out of this world….We have never seen anything this beautiful.

I can't think of anything that could have been better. I mean everything at the hotel was marvelous: the room, the breakfast, the staff, the courtesy, the care, and the hospitality. Dani and Linda literally treated us like our family members and did their best to keep us happy. Thanks, Dani and Linda; love the two of you!

The best organic breakfasts I've ever had during my visits to 29 countries. Every item for the breakfast was fresh and delicious. No single item on the menu was worth trying. The host offered me a special daal curry for breakfast. The location from Interlaken West railway station was a 20-minute bus ride with a breathtaking view of the lake Thun.

Absolutely nothing!

The host/hostess were phenomenal. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. The welcome, history tour, glass of champagne, adorable stuffed animal, and quirky pleasantries made the stay extremely memorable. We had to depart early for a flight so missed breakfast, but Dani graciously packed us a to-go bag!

Linda (the big boss) and dani were exceptional. We came over in our Porsche to experience the mountain passes, Dani even went out of his way to provide a route and stops for us with his knowledge of the area! The views from the room were beautiful and it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to return all the way from the UK again!

1) The staff was very friendly, we really enjoyed listening to their stories 😊 2) The owner was helping us to plan our daily activities and we found his recommendations very helpful. 3) The food was amazing 😋 The breakfast was full of local high-quality products that are hard to find in other hotels in the region that we have tried. I'd say the breakfast was quite exclusive in this hotel. 4) The view was unreal!!! I have never had such a unique panoramic view full of mountains and lakes. The hotel is 1200m above sea level and you can clearly see Lake Thun and Jungfraujoch from your room and the restaurant. I highly recommend booking a room with a mountain and lake view 🤩 5) The hotel itself and also the rooms were full of antiques. The furniture was decorated with individually painted flowers. The balcony had a perfect size and design. The style of the hotel was quite esthetic and impressive. Highly recommend especially for those who want to explore Swiss culture ☺️ 6) The location was perfect also in terms of transportation. It was next to the bus station. You can reach the Interlaken center for free with the guest card by bus in 20 minutes. Everything was simply perfect, the service was exceptionally good. For sure we will return again. We just returned from Switzerland but already miss the owners, Dani and Linda, and of course their lovely dog 🤗 I'm a person who is simply scared from dogs but with their dog I was feeling so peaceful 😌 We will miss their sweet and interesting stories about life in mountains and the history of Switzerland 🥹

Dani and Linda are absolutely amazing hosts. They welcome you whole-heartedly into their beautiful hotel with a fresh juice and are full of tales about historic things in their hotel which show the beautiful culture of Beatenberg and Switzerland. They are also respectful and inviting of people from different backgrounds and maintain a hospitable environment. Dani is always smiling alongside a very nice breakfast every morning, with full of tips and suggestions for the day. They will also listen to your individual requests and try to cater them as best as they can. The hotel is also located in a very nice area, you take a 12-13 minutes scenic drive from interlaken up to the hill of beatenberg, and a very nice view of lake thun and interlaken awaits you from the hotel's garden.

We loved this stay! It’s a lovely place surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. What makes this even better is the level of hospitality that Dani and Linda provide. They made sure we were comfortable, knew the best things to do and eat in the area, and more. We felt right at home with all of the personal touches they add. They called and made a reservation for us for dinner, packed us a huge meal to-go when we told them we would miss breakfast, and left a treat or two each day! The breakfast selection is wonderful and locally sourced. The location is convenient to Interlaken and much more. We would definitely recommend Hotel Fassbind to everyone and we hope to come back again!

Nothing could have improved our stay

An amazing stay from the second we checked in! The location, breakfast, room and views were all exceptional however it was Dani and Linda that made our stay extra special. A kind, warm and welcoming couple happy to share their story, knowledge and experiences along with their beautiful home. All recommendations were greatly received and went down a treat! Heidi and Eric were the icing on the cake for a fantastic 3 days, thank you Fassbind family, you were the best!

There is no lift to carry your luggage which is however expected given the characteristic of the hotel.

Location was perfect, having a fantastic view of Interlaken, with only 15 minutes drive away from the city centre. The hosts Dani and Linda made us feel at home and also provided several recommendations on what to do and where to go during the stay. Breakfast was also very good and filling. In general the place is very clean and well kept. Also made friends with Erik (the hosts’ cat) who is very friendly and came to greet us as soon as we checked in.

It is very rare to find an available room at this hotel, so it’s best to book half a year in advance.

The breakfast is top quality. All the food are very fresh and delicious, better than most restaurant in Swiss. The view from the small balcony is extraordinary. The bed is very comfortable and there is no annoying light after closing the lamp. The hosts are very kind and friendly. Compared to its price, I could say nothing about the room size.
