We paid an extra 50 euro per night to upgrade to the bigger room with a view and its own bathroom. The view was spectacular, but the bathroom was tiny and, although clean, could do with an upgrade. Brown tiles, yuck.

Breakfast was simple but very nice. The older couple who own and run this place are lovely and provide very good service. We upgraded to a "room with a view" and it was the best view we've ever had! So beautiful and serene, and the little balcony was a great spot to take it all in.

The wifi in our room was pretty weak, we had to step out if we needed to use it. The shower was two floors above our room, which wasn't a concern for us but something to be aware of

The location is great, right off the main road, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. There is plenty of parking to choose from. The view from our room was great. The breakfast was fantastic, and the old lady who runs the place was gracious enough to prepare a full breakfast for us, including coffee, the night before when we told her we'd be leaving super early in the morning, well before breakfast starts

This hotel is at very good location i.e. one side mountain and another side is lake. It was quite in night except few sounds of animals in forest. Nice and clean carpet on the floor.

It’s not an around-the-clock hotel with staff working and being able to help at any time. It’s much more like we are guests in a house and have to take into considerations the requirements of the owners

The location is superb, very near to Thun lake and walking distance (30 minutes) from St. Beatus Cave. Free parking space is very convenient. The fairy stop of Thun lake is also very near. Hotel provided us the 'guest card' which we have used in a public transport. Bus 21 from the bus stop, just near to the hotel, takes you to the Interlaken West and Ost.

No fan, no aircon specially in summer was very inconvenient. They should look into better quality toiletries and towels and napkins.

Breakfast was too little. One egg, 2 tomatoes, 2 ham slices for 2 people. Not very flexible for luggage storage or check-in times between lunch and 5pm.

The location was very picturesque. The rooms were clean. It was so easy to reach by public transport.

Wi-Fi connection wasn't good at all, and I had a hard time connecting to Wi-Fi which caused me some trouble for buying online train tickets.

There's no kettle in the room and they don't really want to give you hot water, instead they propose you to buy a coffee in their restaurant.

The location is great, the stuff is smiling and willing to help. They offered a free transport ticket. The breakfast is fine.

Would have preferred Lake View room. About 5 kms away from Interlaken West station, but if you've a Car, shouldn't be a problem.

Cozy stay. Caring and understanding caretakers. Breakfast was sufficient. View from the Restuarant (Lake View) was beautiful. Excellent parking facilities.

Very nice hotel in a quiet spot just outside of Interlaken. Private parkingplaces available next to the hotel. It is run by lovely people. Everything is very clean and you may expect a nice and abundant breakfast. The building is somewhat older, so please don't expect airconditioning or a keycard. However, the hosts are hosts in the best sense of the word.
