We had room 26. There is no ventilation due to only having a roof window, which we couldn't open due to rain.

The beds are very comfy and the room was very clean. The breakfast was a good bonus.

Need cross the road go to the main entrance of hotel, need to be careful to cross since many cars from both sides at the same time, and there are so slope go to the hotel.

The only thing was distance from the centre of town but a half hourly free bus ran from 50m up the street

Nice and clean and friendly staff. Always go a long way in my book. The room was good for what I needed. The shared bathroom was no problem. Always clean and never had to wait. The breakfast had a good choice.

Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and very good location in the centre of town. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Private parking provided free of charge.

Loud. Loud. Loud. I was placed by the stairs and you hear everyone going up and down. Doors slamming vibrated the walls. You can hear talking next door. You get what you pay for here.

Staff was nice. I love how big the window was. It made the room feel less small. It was nice to have a sink in my room it made things easier. Bed was comfortable.

Roughly a downhill 10mins walk from Grindelwald main station. Breakfast has alot of varieties! Even had rice with soy sauce! Shower and toilet was clean with hot water. Tv has youtube and netflix!

Sound proofing is an issue - specifically with guests dragging cases up and downstairs - often early in the morning - shared toilet ok - shared shower facilities very disappointing - better quality rooms are available - I would book again 😄

It was a very small room but exceptionally clean and well presented - great breakfast selection - great views from the verandah of the hotel - self serve fridge for drinks just had to log it in the book provided - WiFi was good - good location

We were on the top floor (3rd floor) with shared toilet. It was no problem as we only shared it with another room on the top floor. Shower was located on 2nd floor. We went last August and the weather was 25'C. It was too warm in the room, the hallway was much cooler to stay at. If you plan to go in summer, try to avoid the rooms on the top floor.

It is close to Grindelwald Train Station. Staff are friendly Good breakfast

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and suggested to buy the gondola tickets with them to get a discount. The price was super compared to other hotels, and we enjoyed the breakfast variety. Thank you

We were in a tiny room without a window, from the photos we weren't expecting much, but to see outside or get any fresh air you had to stand on a chair and put your head out the roof which felt a bit silly. It was a cheaper room for the area, but there were better rooms for a very similar price elsewhere as it turns out.

It is in a great spot with parking available. Lovely staff all very helpful. Good breakfast buffet with a lovely view.

The building is old so the floors were very very creaky. I was glad to be on the top floor so no guest rooms were above mine but I did feel a bit bad for anyone below me.

Excellent value for the location and amenities. Breakfast was so good, staff was very helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a private room with shared bathroom and the bathrooms and showers were clean and I never ran into other people when trying to use them.

The lodge is on a slope. Nothing much they can do about the location but I’ve seen visitors struggling with big luggages. Reminder to tourists: best to get off at Grindelwald main station, not at Grindelwald Terminal if you are dragging your luggages. Otherwise, it’s an uphill walk Peeps😅

The lodge welcomes you with warmth when you enter. There were some construction or repair works going on when I was there, so the view of the lodge from outside didn’t look as pretty as it could be. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, very accommodating with my questions.
