The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Richard was awesome and took our stay from great to exceptional. He made the check in/out process seamless and gave us rides to and from the train station.

Richard was a wonderful host. He collected us from the station in his electric van and was on hand to help us with anything that we needed. The room was clean, modern and in good working order. We had everything we could possibly need.

It is just a short stroll down to the Spar for supplies. It didn't bother us but it is fairly steep back up if you are less able for inclines.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. We had a fabulous patio with views of Matterhorn. Host Richard was really welcoming and helpful. A great place to stay and would certainly book it again.

The location is great, only 7-10min walking to the ski lift (you can leave your ski equipment in the lockers from the rental company right at the lift, so you dont need to walk with them) very close by to the village center to multiple restaurant, bars, etc. Also, the apartments have all the necessary for a great stay and the host is super friendly and helpful! Very much recommended!!

Richard was AMAZING. The other reviews talked about how great he was but I didn't realize just how wonderful this man is until we checked in and he spent 30 minutes of his time making sure we were well informed and just chatting about the area. My partners $400 ski jacket was left behind by accident and Richard offered to mail it to me as soon as I reached out and asked. I paid for the postage of course but he went out of his way to go to the post office and spend time shipping it off.

I got to see the sunrise over the Matterhorn from my bed every morning, truly breathtaking! The apartment was clean and spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, and a Nespresso coffee maker. The bathtub was very much appreciated after long hikes! Breakfast was very tasty. Richard is a wonderful person - kind, helpful, and made me feel extremely welcome. He picked me up and dropped me off at the train station, which would have been difficult to walk with luggage as the hotel is up a hill. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus. It’s close to everything, but away from the noise of the main part of town. The hikes I did around Zermatt were the greatest I’ve ever experienced. What an incredible place! I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Richard.

The apartment is up quite a steep hill which was a lot at the end of the day, but hey we're here to climb mountains right?

The view of the Matterhorn was so clear and real, you could look out at it all the time. Richard had a lot of small touches to make our stay more comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed, and the pans were better repair than you expect in a hotel. There was a little grocery store about a block away.

There is a building site directly in front at present. The crane is sometimes in the view and sometimes not. It didn't worry us too much and I guess no fault of Artists Apartments.

Richard the manager was very helpful and friendly. We felt at home here. A great view of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains. Great to have breakfast bread delivered to our door at 7am.

The owner- Richard is a fantastic host, who not only greeted us at the door but also showed us around the building and the room. The room is spacious and the kitchen is clean. There is more than enough kitchenware if you were to cook during your stay. Most importantly, the view of the room is perfect, you can see Matterhorn outside your window!

Great little hotel, the owner is very friendly which makes the atmosphere in the hotel very homely. The room was comfortable, well equipped, balcony with a nice view, and good breakfast. I also liked the concept of each room being dedicated to a different artist. Would definitely stay here again.

The location on the hill allows a good view from the balcony but compromises though, some practicality. It’s just 10 min walking down to the center but the way up is uphill… Taxis reach at the doorstep of the hotel though.

Richard was really friendly and helpful. The Appartment was well equipped, well decorated, and in perfect conditions. Taxi reach at the door step of the Appartment. Bus stop is just 3 minutes walking and drops you at the different ski facilities. ski room with boot heater available and really practical.

Distance from the station and lift. If you're a healthy person, there's no problem at all, but the slope. For my family, it was a good walk every day.

The room is large for the price. It's also good that the artist's paintings are decorated. The room is clean.

Only drawback for my wife and myself was the walk uphill to return to our room. Other then that fantastic time.

Did not participate in breakfast because of kitchen in room. Bread availability each morning was a bonus. The host, Richard was terrific right from the greeting on our arrival to our departure. The introduction evening of raclette was amazing. Meeting all at this traditional swiss meal was very relaxing and very enjoyable.

We liked everything! In the beginning we struggled to cary our ski back and forth to the ski lift and up to the apartment. But after the first day we started using the deposit boxes in the ski depo lockers in Furi (2 CHF per day) and it was a game change.

Our apartment was very spacious, very comfortable for our family of 4 with two kids. The view is fantastic. Kitchen is very well equipped. Richard is extremely friendly, helpful, pleasant, very hands-on caring person.

It's a bit of an exercise to walk up and down the apartment as it's on a hill, but manageable.

Richard was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of useful advice. Views from our apartment were excellent. Kitchen facilities were complete.
