No sauna and little to none facilities and the sauna has been not working for many years ! I have been to this hotel few times ! It’s like a hostel !

Double room is two twin beds (not a double bed). No kettle.

Large room with big balcony windows and balcony to sit on looking over to the hills. Ski room in basement floor to store gear. Lots of storage space in the room. Great location...5 mins walk from the main lift up to Davos Parsenn ski area.

I would have liked it if the ice outside the hotel could have been gritted or salted. It was slippery/ icy when you left the hotel in either direction.

In our location the Wi-Fi was pretty bad (but we were at the end of the building, fourth floor).

Clean and comfortable rooms, well maintained, staff was super friendly and very accommodating. They even gave us a free late checkout so we could enjoy our final day of skiing. Good location close to Parsennbahn.

It is not easy to contact hotel for any clarification by phone or email. For parking they mentioned that per night charges are 25 CHF but they charge 60 CHF for 2 days.

Windows weren't well isolated that means cold was coming in and the noise from the street. There was no staff at check-in and check-out. The Wifi was practically unstable!

We got a room with balcony with out booking it. Bed sheets where good looking and comfortable. The Hotel was at a good location. Great price!

We spent just one night there and we haven’t encountered any problems. Just slight discomfort: during check in we couldn’t find the receptionist so I just took our room card with my name on it from behind the reception desk - they weren’t replying on WhatsApp nor booking. And also the beds were too soft and made noises so I can imagine that I’d have a problem if I stayed longer. And I’d also miss a fridge.

The room was big, clean and the view from the terrace was great. For this price in Switzerland it was better than I was expected

on approach it looked a little run down although I felt there’s a lot of love gone into it though and eventually it’ll be back to its former glory, don’t be put off though, give it a stay anyway.

the location of the hotel was great as shops and takeaways were close by, the receptionist was lovely and it looked quaint.

there is no breakfast but we know this up front. the reception is only open a little but i wrote a note and left on the desk and my requests were delivered to our room very shortly.

the location is very central. you can walk to parsan lift and the bus stop is in front of the property. the room size was very good. there is a lift.

Hotel Derby was once a top hotel in Davos. The house now serves as budget accommodation, ie rooms are "old style", but clean and no service is provided. Location is great, parking just in front of the door and several breakfast/food options nearby.

Please note that eating out is very very expensive in Davos. You can survive by eating out of the Spar for a time though. Beer a tad pricey, but not outrageous. Bring a travel kettle plus coffee for your room, as nothing provided.

Excellent value for Davos...but note that there were zero facilities in the hotel and in particular no restaurant. You eat out 3 meals per day. The ski lifts were very close, as were hire shops. Spar (or equivalent) super markets were also close. Night time entertainment was limited although there was a decent bar for the apres ski. More available a short bus ride away in Davos Platz. Room was clean with good view + a bath.
