This isn’t a complain but a suggestion: there should be a mirror in every room. The only mirror available was in the washroom. The lower beading of the shower enclosure had come lose, hence some water would spill out to the bathroom after shower.

Great location and views from the balcony. Everything was explained to us over a WhatsApp message and video and we had no problem locating and entering the property. The house itself was very warm and cozy. We stayed at the 1st floor.

Beautiful location overlooking Lake Thun. It’s probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. It’s little less touristy than Grindlewald and as you peaceful as you can imagine. I loved my stay here. I had a car which I loved driving up and down the mountain- from and to Interlaken ( about 15-20 min drive). You also get covered parking which is a nice bonus and nearby (walking distance) you can get food and breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay if you’re looking to stay or visit Interlaken.

1. It was difficult to contact the host. I did not receive an email with information about where to pick up the key until the last day. Before that, I tried to contact the host by phone, the phone number indicated as not registered on the network. It’s probably not very good to indicate such a phone number as a contact number. The host sent me email only after I called the Booking customer service and complained about the lack of information from him 2. To go to the toilet you have to go through the second bedroom. We were traveling with friends and it was not very easy to use the toilet at night

The house located on the main street, busy but quiet in the night. There is a farm shop nearby where you can buy butter, fresh eggs and bread for breakfast. I also saw few cafes, but we came back late and did not see these cafes and restaurants open An apartment is nice decorated inside, has all kitchen amenities but no washing machine and dishwasher. It has wonderful view from one of the bedroom, second one has no view at all. The apartment has a balcony and a little garden on the side of the house. The village is divided into 2 parts. Our apartments were located in the first lower part, which is actually one street with houses along it. The second part of the village is located a little higher and seems it is larger. There you can find a panorama point with a beautiful view of the second lake.

It’s not about dislike but just for somebody to take into acount… The windows of our bedroom were on the side of the main street and the big cars driving by made a disturbing noise, but you can always use earplugs at night. Also a large lantern was lit in the evening, the light of which shines directly into the bedroom. Anyway, it didn't bother us much and we would stay here again and again.

Beautiful location - you feel like you are staying in a postcard you have wached for many years in magazines. Even if there were things that should still be fixed in the apartament, location and fantastic view turns your eyes off all that.

We sent whatsapp message to ask the host how to turn on the heaters in living room and bedrooms on the first day but didn't received any reply during the whole stay (5 days). Drainage of the sink in bathroom is really bad.

The value for the money was absolutely amazing. We went with a group of 4 ladies and the location is just top notch! We got a free parking space, the kitchen was very well equipped - one of the best equipped kitchens I have seen so far. The whole apartment was very nicely furnished and looks 100 % like on the pictures portrayed. The toilet was very big so it was perfect for 4 people. We enjoyed our time there so much and I would absolutely book exactly the same apartment for the next time. I would even come here with my family in the future, since the location is so perfect for a family vacation.

- Like the others mentioned, the sound insulation for windows is really bad; not much of a problem in low season but I can expect it to be quite bad otherwise - Like in many chalets, the floor is not level so unless you prop the doors with a weight (provided in the apartment!), they *will* hit you :), - It's an old restored chalet, so there aren't many power outlets; it's especially annoying in the kitchen where you have to make choices between which amenities you want to run at the given moment - The access to the bathroom is through one of the bedrooms, so while it worked great for a couple, I wouldn't recommend it for 2 couples

- Great rustic apartment - The available appliances worked great - BEAUTIFUL location, the views from the window are fantastic, the village is great - Close to most of the shops - Good starting point for hikes - Has a fondue set (you need to bring your own fuel and matches though) - Plenty of heaters available (portable electric radiators, fake electric chimney, central gas heater, radiator in the bathroom), we had no issues staying warm despite it being -10C outside - Dedicated parking spot under a roof
