Breakfast choice was very average for a 4* hotel - no soft boiled eggs, poached or fried option. Only omelette or the buffet scrambled. Staff reluctant to offer anything else. No offer of help to station with bags. Most people walked up the steep hill with bags, but if you insist they will drive your bags to the station on departure day.. bedroom walls were very thin. We could hear every word of convo next door. Duvets very synthetic.

Rooms were comfortable, facilities good. Nice pool and sauna area.

Slight criticism, no secure ski locker or luggage room for last day so bags stored in a hall next to reception. Nothing was taken from either area, and I have stayed here before without a problem, but I do always wonder if my stuff will still be there when I return. Very easy for someone to take your skis/boots even by accident.

We had a suite, which had a separate twin bedroom and a living room with large sofa bed and a dining table. Very roomy. Balcony faced the mountains. Large bathroom with shower and separate bath.

Breakfast bit to plain for a 4 star hotel. Would love to see offer on bigger coffees. ( Like a pot of coffee), Bread selection quite bad, mostly only white soft bread with no fibers. Boiled egg too long cooked. Sauna too small, one additional would be better for a 4 star. Otherwise good. No refill on coffee pods in the room was a disappointment. Especially when you stay a whole week. We had to pay for additional pods There was a very unpleasant smell passing the Reception in the Evening. Every evening. I think there was some kind of Gas smell. We ordered Syntetic pillows and duvets for all. This was not provided.

Very nice room, Cleaning excellent, Great location and close to Gornergrat bahn. Great to have ski rental in-house. Very friendly staff.

Right across from the main train station and a few mins walk from train that takes u up the mountain. Close to town. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn from our room.

There is no isolation and you can here the people walking around the hotel.

Breakfast area was in the basement, way too overcrowded and hot... staff was nice... food was just ok for Switzerland. 4star should have been better breakfast.

Bathroom was tiny. Breakfast is in an overheated basement room without any windows (other guests showed up in tshirt, shorts and flipflops - now we know why). Location close to the train station is good for arrival and departure but pretty far from the ski lifts.

Rooms were newly renovated. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was agreeably quiet during the night.

View to Matterhorn is there, but there is also right in front of you view to Construction site. So not sure if room with a view is worth it.

This hotel has a great location. It was just 2 mins away by foot from the train station and the town. We got a room that was facing the Matterhorn with a small balcony and it was a dream. The room was clean and the staffs were so lovely and welcoming. We had to extend to one more night because there was so much to see and we just felt comfortable and warm in our room. The room had bath robes, slippers & coffee machine. Not forgetting the spa services was spot on. Sauna after a cold day at the snow was the best thing ever.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to the train station and gornergrat bahn station more or less 3 minutes walk. Close to coop supermarket as well.
