Perfect if you are arriving on a late flight or leaving on an early flight the next morning as the Capsule Hotel is right in the airport.

The only downside is the ambient noise when you are trying to sleep, but most of that comes down to basic respect for your fellow travelers. Slamming doors, phone notifications and loud conversations should obviously be curtailed, but, well ... people.

My second time staying at the Capsule Hotel. Just as convenient as ever. We had a nine-hour wait for our connecting flight, and this was the ideal solution. I would really recommend reserving as far in advance as possible as the hotel was fully booked. There were many folks showing up quite late, expecting a place to sleep, but they were sadly out of luck. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there is a nice "youth hostel" feel to the settings.

Just a little bit of noise when opening and closing the door but it is tolerable.

The location is perfect and it is just one train away to the city center. The facility is nice as well and the bed is fine.

The toilets and showers are quite far away from the beds and through a security door that needs a code. In the middle of the night, this is complicated, especially if you have to climb up and down the ladders. Storage for luggage is also not nearby. It's difficult to climb the ladder, holding a torch so as to enter the code to enter the capsule. Light outside would be nice. It is extremely expensive for what you get but as there are no other alternatives near the airport, you have no choice. It's only ever going to be one night.

The location is perfect, the capsule was clean and comfortable. It felt safe. The staff were friendly. Nice hot showers in the very early morning. Clean ablution facilities.

Aircondition temperature is not low enough for my comfort. Had to get closer / face the vent to get cooler air.

Great value for money and location. Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious bathrooms and showers. Nice common areas.

Not sure this was worth CHF87, but there’s nothing cheaper at Zurich Airport, and if you only need a place to sleep (and work in the lobby with good wifi), I’d still recommend this.

Right across the street from Check-in 1 counters. The capsule was spacious enough for one person (especially of my size :)). Showers and toilets were not crowded or dirty.

Other guest not respecting the place should be quite. The door closes very loudly.

I slept amazingly on the mattress first thing to say. The hotel is clean alongside the toilets. I got there round midnight so i didn’t use the bar inside. I checked online so everything was easy.

The walls of the boxes are quite thin, allowing the constant opening and closing of doors to be both heard and felt. Additionally, the light switch was not clearly identifiable as such. This resulted in new guests frequently pressing the wrong button in their capsules in hopes of turning on their light. (Which can also be heard..)

A funny experience and ideal if you have to catch an early flight.

Check in is possible online but checkout only via kiosk or in person. Would be nice to have also online option with a reminder. Showers could use a check for black mold, there is minimum amount, but there should be none (e.g. on showerheads)

The property was right next to the Zurich Airport. Supermarkets (Migros/Coop), SIM shops (Swisscom, Salt) and restaurants were a few steps away at the airport. The place was clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfy.
