Extremely friendly staff, beautiful, traditional Engadin-style building inside and outside in the heart of Zernez. The breakfast was not of a huge selection, but the quality was perfectly fine.

No Wifi in bedroom (single room). I feel the ultra basic room was overpriced, but maybe that’s just Switzerland, as others say .

I would have appreciated a bit of a wider choice for the menu as well as the wine but given the season i can also understand why that was not the case.

As a starting point for a four day winter hike in Engadin it is good. The hotel is one of the few open at this time of the year. It's small and charming and is being run by an Italian couple that previously ran a mountain cabin but were tired of the snow, the wolves and the loneliness in winter. The place has a comfortable atmosphere and you are being warmly welcomed. Italian style. So positive. The menu is not big but cooked with passion and the taste flambé was good. Breakfast next morning went down well and so I was ready for the walk.

There could have been vegan options at the breakfast - my partner brought his own plant-based "milk" for the cereals. The hotel is not super modern, but I prefer it like it is now, since it has more charm.

Very friendly staff! The hotel was rustic and charming. Our room had beautiful wooden carvings and we had a view up on the mountain. Delicious breakfast! I liked that we had a basin in the room (toilet and shower was shared). The whole hotel was very clean and smelled nice thanks to the "room perfume".

The bathroom and the shower were shared (not in the room) which was not explained well enough. I can understand the limited space available for the facilities but then I can't justify the cost of the room.

Nice family run hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and there's quite a nice level of choice. The location is central andI very quiet at night. We came with bicycles and there was a nice storage we weer allowed to use without extra charge.

Nothing, everything was excellent.

Host was very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The host even offered an upgrade and asked about specific breakfast times since we were the first guests to arrive. The breakfast covered all our wishes and the room was spacious and comfortable.

The unfriendly breakfast service, I saw 2 English travelers getting harassed for trying to self-serve coffee using a self-service machine with unfriendy instructions in German. Classic Swiss inhospitality. The bathroom is ridiculously small, we had to go pee in the public toilet.
