This is a hotel by name but not in how they treat their guests. Janette was outstanding to work with and accommodated our needs at all times. Having a great breakfast as so nice to wake up to everyday and the quality of food was great. Location was very close to the train station but to get to the gondola it was a bit of a walk. Rooms were comfortable, view from the balcony was great! Walking sticks and umbrellas were available on a first come first serve basis which was very nice. I would 100% recommend this property when staying in Murren.

Great location close to train station. Easy to walk to the Coop grocery store and nearby shops. Hiking trails also easy to access. Food at breakfast awesome. The room was so comfortable!

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Alpenbick. Jeanette and Thomas were wonderful hosts and answered all our questions throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a very nice breakfast every morning. We look forward to returning here again!

There are four flights of steps to carry up suitcases but the owner helped.

We had room 19 and the view of all the mountains ( including Jungfrau, Monck and Eiger) was fantastic. Our bed was in a separate room and the bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast was good and our hostess Jeanette was very friendly. The hotel is close to the railway station but Murren is quite small and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the cable car on the other side of town. It was quiet and we were not disturbed by the train, other guests or street noise.

We loved everything!

While not in the “heart” of Murren, the location is great, and the staff is wonderful. We had the apartment and the family room. Our party of 6 adults and 3 children found the hotel a perfect property to base our adventures around Murren. Having stayed at four hotels in Murren, Hotel Alpenblick is my new go to! The rooms, the restaurant, and the staff were top notch. Many thanks to Jeanette for being a great hostess and for taking care of my family and me. Hope to see you again soon.

I've been coming to Mürren for many years, stayed in most of the village's hotels, but I have never felt more at home or received a friendlier welcome than at the Alpenblick. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the crowded village and so much quieter and more tranquil. The restaurant is particularly good with the best home made meals I have had in the region. Don't miss the rösti! I feel like I have a new Mürren home!

Comfortable three night stay in this cozy mountain hotel. Jeannette was so accommodating and helpful with everything. The restaurant was closed unfortunately but no worries, many options nearby. Breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend the Alpinblick.

The only negative was the rubber mattress pad that is on the beds. They are truly awful. They make a terrible noise when you shift and they feel like plastic and make you way too hot at night. We took them off to sleep and then put them back on just before checkout. This resolved the bed issues immediately and completely - we are very picky about these being used. Perhaps the only other change is how they do breakfast - reduce the plastic wrap, allow folks to grab what they want and not pre-packaged plates, give a little variety for folks doing longer stays.

Location, value and hosts are amazing! The location is very near the train station but you don't get too much noise. It's an easy walk with your luggage. It is on the far side of the village but really it's just 10 min from the Schitlhornbahn. The hosts and front desk are exceptionally helpful. The restaurant for dinner is excellent with some welcomed different main meals offered. Breakfast was very complete to get you going, although lacked anything warm/hot. It did have hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, meat, lots of breads and jams. It had cereal and plenty of coffee was brought out. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The bathroom was a good size, which is much appreciated. The patio was a nice touch with spectacular views from the room. The 10/10 rating is from the value, which I don't think can be beat for Murren or Wengen.

The only thing was the tourist or city tax which I didn't know about until we signed out.

Breakfast was amazing and had loads of delicious continental options. The staff were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The location was very accessible and made day trips extremely easy. The view from the room was stunning. The room was extremely good value and was a good size, very clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room, but it wasn't a problem. There is no elevator so if lugging your suitcase up several flights of stairs is a problem, look for another hotel.

The room was large with lots of space for suitcases and moving around. The view was spectacular from the balcony and it is very close to the BLM train station. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information. The breakfast was great and we ate two dinners at the hotel restaurant and both were very good.
