Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThought it was odd that we had to pay for our towels - but that was what was available as dorm renters. Front desk reception was a bit cool until they realized we had a reservation.
We chose the “dorm” set up to save cost. We had shared bathrooms in the hall but there was always one available. No waiting on roommates! Everything was so clean! Loved the fresh air when we opened the windows.

NetherlandsAccommodation was not roomy. Should be tight if traveling with ski gear. The room was a bit too practical and rough. Not an amazing value for money.
Hotel is really good located and the included transportation pass is a big plus. Staff were polite and helpful. Extremely clean and comfy beds

GermanyNot much to say here. Only that the TV was quite small and tucked under the stairs, which was not so great.
I liked that it was a simple, modern, all you need hotel. Not too far away from the 2 train stations in Celerina. There are also a couple of good restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed our room which had an inside upper level, where the sleeping area was, and a small kitchen.

MalaysiaLocation wise is not really good. Dont have shops nearby.
Cheap hotel as compare to others hotel in St. Moritz but the location is far from the main station. You need to take another train to the station near the hotel. It is 15 minutes walk from the station.

United StatesMy first time to check in a hotels that a shower towel is not part of the amenities to be provided. It would be nice if there’s a clear info about it. You have to pay 5 cut to have a towel.

MalaysiaLocation - if you want to travel with heavy luggage , not actually directly accessible to train station. But if you like the peace & quiet of a small town feeling - this is the place to stay. Remember to atop at Cerelina station instead of the other smaller station, Celerina Staz (only stop on request) . This town has 2 train stations - a bit confusing at first
1) excellent budget value hostel 2) comfy/clean rooms 3) great breakfast

SwitzerlandNothing really.
Great value for the money. Location is perfect for skiing in the Corviglia/St Moritz resort. You can walk to the valley station in 10 minutes or drive in 2 minutes. We traveled with our 8years old daughter and booked the studio M. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. Staff very friendly.

GermanyWe had a two story appartement with beds upstairs. Toilet downstairs which is uncomfortable when you have to go to the toilet during the night. Bad for elderly people. They should book a normal room.
We postponed our stay and the hotel did not charge us!!! Three days free ride for all Engadin cabelecars to Corvatsch, Diavolezza etc. included! Great value!!

AustraliaThe reception lady who checked us in was very rude and curt, she should be trained in customer service as she explained things very rudely to us. The room was also very hot during the night, and there was nowhere in the room we could find to turn the heating off. Also the sofa bed was very loud with any tiny movement, and mattress was thin and hard. However the other beds were good.
Room was clean, and spacious. Bathroom was clean. There was also a kitchen and cooking área, which is great for saving on food by cooking yourself. Location is fine if you go to St Moritz by bus, or get the cable car. But walking it is a bit far. They looked after our backpacks for the day of check out, which was very helpful.

United StatesKitchenette lacked a microwave, and more surprisingly a coffee maker, and since there was no free coffee in the lobby, this was the only facility I've stayed at in the world where you had to purchase coffee.
Very new, contemporary, airy, with good staff and cool features like bike storage and cleaning.

SwitzerlandNothing really- but if there was one thing it’d had to be the floors - the concrete walls and the wood gave the hotel in general and the rooms in particular a rustic look, which was absolutely fine. However, the floors (design, color, material) did not quite match up with the rest…
Location was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. The kitchenette was well equipped and the bathroom was of a good size and spanky clean. As an active outdoor family, it came in very handy to have free access to (3!) washing machines and dryers. The mezzanine bedroom was fantastic with heaps of storage space. The duvets were very nice and comfy. The free usage of cable cars and public transport via the Engadin Card is included in most hotels but what made this one exceptional, albeit a small thing, is that when we told the reception staff that we would like to make use of the cards on our check-out day but were not planning to return to Celerina, we were handed a pre-stamped envelope so we could drop the cards into any letterbox in the country.

United KingdomThe only thing I didn’t like was no towels provided for our type of room; a bit inconvenient as they take lots of space in a backpack.
We had a great stay at this hotel, definitely amazing value for money, especially together with the free pass for all cable cars, trains and busses in the neighbourhood included! We had the room option with shared bathrooms - wasn’t a problem at all, very clean and tidy at all times, with minimum people around. Location is excellent, ideal for daily trips in different directions. Hotel staff was very kind, Daniela at the bar was very attentive and friendly.
