Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeThe standing shower is very slippery and the water easily leak out as it doesn't has a sliding door, only curtain. The hotel room doesn't has a kettle.
I like the location as it's a short walk from the train station to the hotel. The cable car station is just next door for people to go up either Hohfluh or Moosefluh.

PolandIt's quite noisy if you get a room facing the street, but if you close the windows, it's much better. Window shade didn't work in our room and it was closed permanently.
It's an oldschool hotel, but very clean and comfy. Breakfast is a selection of breads, pastries and cold cuts. It's absolutely central - gondola is in the same building and train station is just on the opposite side of the street. Staff was really nice and helpful.

SwitzerlandThe sink in our room only had cold water (shower at least was hot). Only a tiny sample bottle of washing liquid is provided. Facilities are all quite old and in need of some refurbishment. Not many plugs in the room. Also a bit noisy being it close to the street and having old windows.
Friendly staff, very convenient location at the train station and cable car station. Clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast is good but very basic, not much choice. Ok for a short stay, the discounted price we got the room for was fair but I think the full price is a bit high.

Large, sunny balcony in the room, TV with a wide range of programs, superbly attentive breakfast service. It is an old building with old equipment - that is a fact. But it is very clean, friendly and the balcony exceeded my expectations.

For this amount you won't get a better place in this area! Comfortable beds, buffet breakfast included, free parking including the whole day of departure, friendly staff. They gave me another room without hesitation when I mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Cheap dinner options available.

Perfect location, a hundred metres from the train station and by the bus stops and Reideralp station. There's a balcony in the room overlooking beautiful scenery. Spacious room and bathroom. Daily room service. There's a supermarket nearby.
