The hotel does not have an elevator, it is very difficult for older people to go up with a suitcase to the third floor.

The hotel staff was welcoming and efficient. The place is in the Bernina pass, surrounded by snow, streams, amazing views and sites for hiking. The breakfast is satisfying and plentiful. Free parking...

i did not know but in winter many days the road from train station to the hotel is closed due to snow. The Ospizio's manager was so kind, picked up me in another station and transported us to the hotel. Very beautiful place. Good breakfast i will repeat

We came to the hotel with Bernina Express train during winter. The road to the hotel was covered deep with snow. It is not easy to walk. The hotel offered a pick-up with snow truck, it cost CHF 20 one way per person. Our room is on 3rd floor, no lift, just stairs. There are more than 5 rooms on the floor. We all need to share bathroom. Only 2 shower rooms available and 1 toilet. Luckily we were the only family who stayed here at that time. Location of the hotel is far from the city center.

The hotel is clean. Their beds are comfortable. We choose this hotel to experience the highest station.

Nothing really, although I did suffer from what must have been altitude sickness. Well, it is the highest altitude we have ever stayed overnight at.

The location is absolutely fabulous, with superb views. It was a case of dragging our cases up the gravel road from Ospizio Bernina station, wondering when the hotel was going to appear at every bend. Thankfully if appeared eventually. The view from our room was lovely. WE went for a drink outside, but, after 5 minutes when the sun disappeared behind a mountain, the temperature dropped sharply. We went inside rather quickly. Room was ok, but we had a shared toilet(knew this in advance). Breakfast was fairly basic but good. Also had an evening meal, which was good.

It’s definitely not a luxury suite, especially in the dorm room. The charm more than makes up for the aging facilities and such, but with everything so expensive in Switzerland it’s hard to say whether it’s good value or not.

A wonderful place in a wonderful location for Alps enjoyment. Feels like going back in time somehow. I loved it. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Excellent location high in the alps. Glorious views. Busy hotel with lots of day trippers coming on motorbikes, cycles, cars and the Bernina Express railway. Breakfast was buffet and good
