Saturdays nights are loud well outside the 10pm time. But you just have to find your earplugs.

Lovely place, more like a small hotel then a hostel. We stayed in a twin private room on the 2nd floor. Fabulous view of the mountains with paragliders going past! It was in a quiet area and while there were people around it was not a hectic place. Very relaxing. The location is a 5\7 minute walk from Interlaken west train station. Interlaken ost station is the busier one where you get trains to the mountains. We got a bus outside the door to Wilderswil where you can connect to trains. You get a free pass to use public transport within Interlaken. The location was great for us as it gave an authentic Swiss feel and we could walk or get the bus to the busier side of Interlaken. The room was a great size and the breakfast was lovely too. I would highly recommend this hostel for people who want to be in a town but in lovely calm surroundings.

A small walk from the main centre or stations - but absolutely worth it. If the main toilet off the bunk room is busy in the morning there is one other downstairs.

Great hostel on the edge of Interlaken. Friendly atmosphere and near lots of beautiful mountain trails.

Reception desk is not staffed for late checking - but that seems common for many Swiss lodgings. Booking.com abbreviated the property address in email confirmation which caused mixup, loss of time and money.

Comparitively cheaper than other options. Good form like energy as there are other activities happening in that place besides room to stay. Good breakfast - but no egg option.

The sink had a big leak that was causing a flood on the floor the first night of our check in. But the maintenance staff was pretty quick to address it the next day.

We needed 4 beds for our group and this place fits the bill. The room was simple but spacious and functional with lots of power plugs by each bed.

Ladder to get up the bunk bed is small and may not be comfortable for older adults.

lift luggage few steps up to access escalator. we are not used to spring mattresses hence difficulty in sleeping.

we reached earlier than checkin time and had an option of leaving the luggage in Keller but have to walk up few stairs to reception to use lift.Receptionist was gentle and warm. though it was on bus route still we walked from station. very picturesque view of the mountains from the property. french breakfast was available with access to microwave kettle and fridge all time.room was spacious for a family with bunk bed for 2.spacious bathroom with all basic facility. it is no less than hotel except reception and staff as we experienced during our tour. a minute walk from bus stop.very peaceful city. we explored during 10 pm and even had a stroll early morning 7:30am.it was surreal.couldnot book dinner and taste famous cheese fondue as it was overbooked by guests which speaks of its popularity.

The disadvantage was the water was still come out a bit after showering. Some people did that. Moreover, some people was partying at night until 3 am. It apparently break the hostel law. Please next time stress on this. It definitely made me awake.

It was perfect. Breakfast was great. Price was reasonable. Most importantly, the staffs are very lovely and helpful. I highly recommend all the solo traveler book the hostel.
