The breakfast did not have as many choices as other hotels.

Being in Old Town is a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Although I could have known from other reviews, the amount of noise from outside was worse then expected with loud guys in the terrace below my window and wheeled suitcases throughout the night on the cobble stones. as the hotel is on a very small street all noise resonates loudly. I closed the window, which worked well, but i dislike sleeping with closed windows

We enjoyed this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. It is close to many restaurants, shops, and the lake. The restaurant downstairs was very good and they have a nice buffet breakfast in the morning. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Cute hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of Zurich. 10 minutes walk from the main station. Clean and welcoming. Faces onto a street with a lot of nightlife but the double glazing did its job and kept out the noise

The location and staff were both excellent. They accommodated our request for early check-in, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good. We had a great stay, although it was the last day of a summer festival, so it was quite noisy until 11 PM due to a concert happening right below the building. We didn't mind, but if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, it’s a good idea to check with the staff beforehand.

More consideration should be given to help with the payment of the city tax, which either has to be paid in cash (it's not very convenient to have Swiss francs available if you are traveling through Europe and are only in Switzerland for a short time, and the conversion rates they use for Euros are not good. It would be much easier to add the city tax to the electronic charge when paying for the room. The restaurant if very convenient, but I plan to explore other options if I return to the city. The online check-in also seems very bureaucratic and gets in the way of the welcome to the hotel.

This is a very cosy and comfortable hotel in the old city. I've stayed there before and particularly like the decor of the rooms, which have murals of the city. The hotel is well-equipped and the staff were very helpful providing adapters to re-charge my phone. It's a friendly place to stay.

The room description stated there was a minibar in the room which was not the case, so we could not store groceries. Also, the bed mattresses were a bit too soft.

Nice hotel at the center of old town, located in a quiet alley. There is an elevator. Breakfast is good and varied. A/C is sufficient, though we did have to ask to turn it up.

Front desk staff were mostly polite and helpful except a middle-aged lady. She looked serious and upset all the time. Hospitality was not her thing, I guess.

Good location. Walking distance to train, tram and supermarket Coop. Plenty restaurants and shops nearby. A block away from the river. Decent breakfast with smoked salmon. Very good coffee. Staff in the breakfast room were nice, warm, polite, and helpful. Decor inside hotel is warm and welcoming.

There was nothing I disliked.

The hotel was characterful with lovely painted walls. The location was perfect. Despite being in a popular area it was quiet at night and I felt safe. Staff always smiled and greeted me and were very helpful- lending me an adapter for my laptop which I had forgotten to bring. Breakfast was included and had everything I wanted. I liked having an unlimited supply of cold drinks. I had a kettle in my room too. I also went to the restaurant each evening which was very good - especially the fondue.

Bath tub is slightly unclean, there is a tiny stain. But rest are good.
