“We loved Thun! It is a beautiful and quiet little town. The hotel is located in the center of Thun, which makes it very convenient to visit many of its attractions. Not too many tourists. We highly recommend people traveling to the Interlaken/Jungfrau area to stay in Thun. It is approximately 10 minute walk to the Thun bus/train station. Friendly staff, we felt welcomed. Breakfast is good. They offered us a welcome drink from the bar across the hotel, it is a very nice gesture of the hotel. The water pressure of the showerhead is by far the strongest! I personally loved it. The room does not have a microwave or fridge like the hotels in U.S, but it has a common area that has a fridge to store your food in.
If I bring my family to the Jungfrau area again, I will book this hotel again.”
“Location. This was perfect us.. it felt away from the tourist hub, but only a 25min beautiful stroll to Thun okd town, along the river. Its also just up from hunibach ferry pier where there is a lovely park, playground and cafe, with a small swimming area. Also close to bus stop and supermarket.
Rooms. Spacious modern rooms. Comfortable, and nice bathroom. There is also a communal club room where you can relax and make coffee etc.
Restaurant. We dined here one night and found the quality of dishes wonderful.
Staff were very warm and welcoming :)
The hotel provided panorama passes which gives you discounts, and free use of the buses which was very helpful in expensive Switzerland”
