“The architecture of the chalet is very welcoming, bearing in mind this is over 100 years old so there’s lots of wood even on the ceilings but it is bright and airy. The chalet has everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom and the living room has a tv and access to streaming services via the broadband connection. The host is very friendly and welcoming. There is also a nice outside area for eating. The views of the mountains and across the valley are very special, we loved the cloud features and mountain top views.”

“Location is beautiful, quiet village with lots of restaurants and cafes. Easily found free parking on the street, although there is only one or two free public parking space in front of the hotel. Staff where initially friendly and helpful.
Room was beautifully presented and decorated, comfortable, with magnificent views to the hills around. Hotel got its own confectionery with tasty sweets. Lots to do in between Kandersteg to Interlaken and beyond.”
