  “Easy booking process and easy to find#, great location a brief drive from the shore of the lake, close to the rotthorn bahn. Friendly check-in. Room was as described, but i did think it might have been worth paying the extra for a balcony room as the view from our room -19- was of half of the roofs below and to the side, but it was a lakeview :-) Breakfast was fresh pastries, cheese and meats and self serve hot and cold drinks. Unexpectedly there is a swimming pool and sauna to use and you can also book a hot-tub which is out in the gardens. We ate in Brienz so can't comment on the restaurant. There was an honest bar for snacks, beers, wine at fair prices, but the co-op is a very short distance away but does close early (20:00)”

  “We had a room with doors opening on to a balcony. The view was so beautiful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was basic but OK with a lovely fresh fruit salad and nice bread. The evening meals were good, the restaurant was packed all day every day but the staff were so efficient and dealt with it well.”

  “Breakfast was simple but sufficient and good value for the price. Breakfast restaurant was homely and nicely decorated. I was alone, so had a single room and it had everything I needed. Hotel restaurant across the road was convenient. Right on the edge of the lake so it was a nice location.”
