Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Exceptionally clean, modern and slick. Every aspect felt luxurious and premium. As a hotel snob, I was so impressed by the hotel. The quality of the interior, and staff were fantastic.

Our room was upgraded and it was truly a wonderful suite - Terrace Suite. My girlfriend loves baths and the tub was huge - a great bonus. The only flaw was we are allergic to down and I may or may not have requested hypoallergenic bedding. There was some sniffling and sneezing the first night. That one detail might have been lost in the confusion of a room upgrade.

United StatesMy only complaint is that the bathroom had a slider door with a glass panel causing it to be somewhat noisy when in use and light would spill out through the glass panel into the bedroom which was distracting when others were trying to sleep.
The hotel had a room that accommodated our family of four including two young adults. The room had two queen beds and one sofa bed, so our adult children each had their own bed. The beds were very comfortable, we especially liked the pillows. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver close to amenities and public transportation. Parking was available for a fee. The hotel room was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Many thanks to Volkan who helped me with my luggage and organizing transportation to the airport. The rooms have mini fridges, free coffee, milk and water.

Location location location. Going on a Cruise out of Vancouver ?? Two blocks from Canada Place.. Two blocks from the Canada line from the airport.. Best value hotel in this vicinity, Rooms and beds comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Do yourself a favor and have breakfast in the attached Hydra restaurant.. you will not regret it.

United StatesI did not like that you had to pick up the gym key in order to go to the gym. At first entrances to the hotel were a little bit confusing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, we did not eat at the hotel but there was a nice coffee shop down the street. We did use the gym and it was very nice. The room was great and bed was comfortable.
