I wish there're glasses or proper cups instead of throw-away paper/plastic cups. And would prefer a normal kettle instead of what's in the room, please.

Value for money and comfortable room and also close to public transport. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Very few economical hotels i see with such good staff and fascilities. Staff was good. Room service was excellent (Naveen thoroughly clean our room). Room was equipped with good kitchen. Ample parking. Breakfast includes eggs, oatmeal, cereals, pancakes, juices, coffee, tea etc. Near to university of Calgary. Due to its economical prices i am giving it score of 9.

The only complaint we could have was breakfast. However for the price it was ok. The oatmeal was mushy and watery. The auto-pancake machine is a good idea of course from your point of view however, it created some pretty bland tasting pancakes. The cereal bowls were little dixie cups as were the cups for the juices. All understood due to the great price for the room and breakfast combined. The other thing is that the carpet in the breakfast area was pretty gross. It looked stained, and dirty. Maybe it wasn't dirty? just the pattern on the carpet? but it looked pretty aged and not very appetizing atmosphere. (again.....the price- I get it)

For the price, this was very good. Room was clean and roomy, parking close by, having a little kitchenette was a bonus.

The location was perfect, and the lodge was well connected to a train station. Going to the city was super easy by train. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast provided was nice. Great place to stay.

There was only shampoo and bar soap in the bathrooms. No conditioner, body wash or lotion as in most other hotels. My daughter forgot a toothbrush and had to pay $5 to get one out of a vending machine. The breakfast was just ok - not a lot of options and the exact same thing offered each day.

Location was perfect, close to the university just as I wanted. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Elevator needs some upgrades it’s a bit old. Too noisy most of the time from across each room’s.

Rooms were a bit dated but they were very clean.

This was a great deal. It's in a row with several other hotels and walking distance from several ethnic restaurants and only 5km from downtown Calgary. We stayed the night before our flight but had time to tour around Calgary the next day. Was concerned about quality of the room, but it was fine. Don't expect luxury accommodations, but it is a good deal. Continental breakfast was okay.

Limited seating for breakfast during peak hours. Breakfast was carb heavy. Elevator was out of service at the time of stay.

Room air conditioning was on prior to check in for a comfortable entrance. Bed and bedding were comfortable and modern. Solid floors gave the room a cleaner appearance. Plenty of parking and option to park out of the weather to stay out of the Calgary hail storms.

The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, the blanket was very thin, and the TV was quite dated (not the best picture quality).

I stayed in a Queen Suite with a sofa bed in the main building. The room was very large and clean, the sofa was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was very handy.

Vinyl flooring, great bed and linen. I hate carpet in all of those budget places. But not here. And friendly staff. They even called my room to make sure all was good

Vending machine wasn't working so couldn't buy water in the night.

Excellent location for catching the ctrain to get downtown, it was located right across the road. Lots of parking and room was very clean.

Breakfast was fairly ordinary. Reception required a lot of info again that had been provided when I booked therefore relatively slow process after a long travel day.

Room was dirty and smelt bad of cigarette smoke. Like really bad stale smoke, gross. Needs air fresheners all over the room. Maybe some glade plugs ins. Hair all over the bathroom door and floor. Bathroom toilet paper roll is broken. No conditioner for hair only shampoo. No shower caps. Continental breakfast could use an upgrade. Not the greatest. Eggs are cold. Not enof tables. Vending machine did not work.
