Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Banff. Stayed here for one night towards the end of our trip in the Rockies. Staff were so friendly, Room was a good size with a comfy bed and good shower. Nice to have outdoor hot tubs and a complimentary breakfast included. Somewhat a reasonable price for a Friday night stay.

United KingdomThe shower was very weak and there was not much space in the bathroom. In respect of the room cleaning, this was good but an option to have the bed made without the towels being changed would have been good as this would have been environmentally friendly without coming back to an uncleaned room. For example, towels on floor means to wash and towels on rails means to keep would have been a good option.
Breakfast was really good, lots of options and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and good facilities.

EgyptAll in all the room we were provided was very comfortable & we were fortunate to get a corner room on the higher floor. The only problem with this room which I shared with FrontDesk was that the AC vent is located right above your head over the commode that was not practical. Hence when using the bathroom had to disconnect. The staff though were friendly & courteous. The morning breakfast was elaborate. Location was also quite ideal to get to restaurants, bus stops, etc.

CanadaThe washroom is small and minimalistic in terms of functionality. Nightly rates are high, average value for money, but this is expected with high season in Banff.
The building is dated, but the recent renovations were well done. Location is perfect, central but remote from the touristy Banff downtown, only 5-10 minutes walk. Nice living room with a sofa bed. Good breakfast included. The staff is friendly and helpful.

AustraliaUnfortunately while we were waiting for our ordered coffee to be ready at the coffee shop before we were due to leave we were asked to evacuate due to a gas leak outside. We missed out on what was supposed to be a great coffee as we had to continue on our travels.
The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast included a nice range however did not cater for people with special dietary requirements.

Canadait would have been lovely to be able to add eggs to order, to be enjoyed with the otherwise good breakfast spread!
The location is excellent; there are many restaurants close by for meals. The reception staff, Jasper was especially helpful and quickly sorted airport coach tickets. Our room was spacious and well appointed.

The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and a great breakfast with hot food, fruit and pastries. About 7 minutes walk get you to the centre of Banff, supermarket, shops and tea. Steam room and hot mini pools were a nice addition to the end of a long day walking.
