Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilThe room is incredibly tight for what it's worth. Though the exhaust fan of the shower is nice so the room doesn't get damp or mouldy, it is incredibly loud. That means that, if traveling with a partner, you'll get almost an aircraft engine firing up within your room every time they turn the bathroom lights on. The view from the room is non-existing to horrible: it gazes sideways from the hotel, my room had a view into a backyard with some remnants of some old revamp of the hotel. Other rooms might have a view into an internal parking. By the way: parking situation in the hotel is one of the worse I have ever seen. No parking spots, crowded internal parking forcing you to choose three options: try your luck at parking on the street (not an option as I had guitar gear in the car), on a public parking area (same) or a private parking at 50BRL/day, 80BRL for two days (which was a rather nice bang for the buck). In sum: if traveling by car, disregard that the hotel has a parking area, it is hard to get in there. To finalize what was not nice in the stay, I'd have to condemn the breakfast experience. 35BRL for very few (and scarce) options around 09:30AM. Reposition of items was lacking and those still being served were cold and poorly presented. For a bit more than 35BRL you can walk to Poché, a brunch restaurant ~1.5km away which is incomparably better. All-in-all, for the location and site pictures, I had expected a scenic stay at Pampulha, which was not quite the case. Nice stay, but a bit underwhelming.
The staff was absolutely awesome, very friendly and helpful all the time. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, right next to Mineirão, Mineirinho and very close to the Igreja da Pampulha. The proximity of the Casa do Baile and Chope da Fábrica (as well as nice dining/restaurant options) makes this hotel a stupendous choice to stay at Pampulha.

BrazilIt was disappointing to find an extra breakfast fee for Booking.com reservations. This practice can make it difficult to compare prices accurately. Additionally, the staff mentioned guest feedback regarding breakfast wasn't always positive. Perhaps the hotel could consider including breakfast options or improving the current offering to address those concerns.
The hotel stay was uneventful, meeting all my basic needs.

ItalyThe first night I was given a room which was unbelievably bad. I managed to change it but only after spending a terrible night there anyway. I asked if the breakfast was included. The receptionist told me no. Luckily, I went for it anyway because while checkin out I discovered that in fact it was included.
Breakfast ok but not spectacular. The location is as good as you can get in Pampulha.

BrazilHowever, the parking lot is confusing, the sheets were not completely clean, and there was no bed-size blanket in the room (for two people). A point of attention for the management is to supervise the cleanliness of the rooms and the sizes of blankets!
The staff are very attentive and respectful, the room has good facilities, and access to the rooms is easy and affordable. The hotel's breakfast meets expectations, and the leisure area just as well!

United StatesThe double bed only had one twin size blanket and two pillows, I asked for extra and they set a comforter... no extra pillows. Also, the towels in the bathroom were quite old. There was mold on the shower ceiling. The breakfast was chaotic, and since we are STILL in a Pandemic, I felt eating breakfast there was not a good idea. Too many people touching the food, most not even wearing a mask and no gloves. The garage situation is not adequate. Tight squeeze for the cars and not enough spots.
Location was good. We were attending an event at the Meyer House nearby, so it was within walking distance.
