The lightning in the bathroom was very dim, you couldn't put on make-up with that light.

The location was great, in the middle of the city, right where the pedestrian area starts. The staff were very friendly. The hotel gives you the feeling you're a little bourgeois. 😀 Our room was actually a suite, which made our stay very cosy.

Perhaps because my room was a corner room I didn’t have Wi-Fi there. The location is good but if you are after going to the beach it is far away

Firstly, the staff and in particular the young woman on reception who was extremely helpful in answering my questions and giving advice. I really appreciated her assistance. Although all the other staff were friendly and helpful too. The room was clean, spacious and quiet and breakfast had a good selection of hot / cold options / cereals ad pastries. In terms of location, the hotel is very central and is situated just across from the Cathedral. I took the 409 bus from the airport and got off at Katedralata stop (approx. 20 mins), crossed the road via the underpass and was at the hotel in 2 minutes. A further 15-20 minute walk gets you to the Sea Garden and beach in one direction and a 20 minute walk to the Central Bus station and the Grand Mall in the other direction. There are also plenty of other nearby facilities / sights nearby. Restaurants, a Billa supermarket, and various museums including the Archaeological Museum, Roman Baths Archaeological Site, Retro Museum and Naval Museum all within a short walking distance.

2 tiny bottles of shower gel for the whole 5 days stay. The bathroom flooded at a corner after each shower. The staff refused to let us leave our suit cases in the storage room even though we were agreed by another staff member on the previous night.

The friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff. In reality, the hotel does not offer parking. I was sent to a parking lot in the city, quite far from the hotel, upon arrival had no free spaces. Even though I asked for a parking space reservation.

The TV had only Bulgarian stations and one German station, but no English speaking stations.

The bed was large and comfortable. The view was great! The well dressed, very professional lady (with a slight Spanish accent) spoke English really was and helped us with everything we needed. That made a big difference for us.

The room - actually it was an apartment - was really spacious and had a very inviting atmosphere. the location of the hotel, just a few steps from the cathedral and the opera house is also great. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms are quite dated. The breakfast was not very tasty and the restaurant itself is quite small and crowded. Bear in mind that the outside parking is Blue zone and you should pay by SMS, unless the hotel provides a parking spot.

There was a residual smell of cigarette smoke that gave the air a particular stuffiness.

The hotel is in the city center of Varna and the rooms are very spacious, reminiscent of the buildings 100 years ago with their atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom decent.

"Full parking" is a story, i was pushed to park 15 mim away from the hotel and to pay extra, as "there are no more places in hotel parking"... don't know if there is any parking considering the location and the fact that the hotel was not so full to top the parking...

The bathroom sink emitted a high-pitched squeal when shut off. It took some manipulation to get it to stop. The toilet leaked one of the four nights I was there. The credit card system would not accept any of the three cards I had so cash was the only means of payment. Fortunately, there are several ATMs nearby. The money exchange across the street was of no help at all.

Breakfast was fine with lots of fresh produce available. View from the room was pleasant. The hotel is within walking distance of theaters, plaza, historical sites, and the beach. It's about a 10 minute bus ride from the central bus station. The male night clerk accommodated my early arrival.

The Wifi was the worst I have ever seen. I couldn't plan anything or find an open store to buy a sim card for the first 2 days. And the receptionist didn't speak English. It definitely hampered my trip. If you want to work while you're here, this is not the place to do it.

The beds were comfy, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was fresh and good for vegans and non vegans alike. The location was pretty central, and it was super easy to get to from the airport and to the train station.

The carpet in the hall should be changed since it's obviously old.

I had a pillow with memory foam, clean towels changed on a daily basis, various fruits on the breakfast, very helpful lady who welcomed us on Friday morning. The location and the view were also amazing. Thanks a lot!
