Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything about this apartment is amazing! The location, the host, the parking spot and its facilities. The owner is really nice, almost everything is reachable on foot (10-20min walk). The only thing that could bother a light sleeper are thin walls. We slept pretty good, but if you are not used to hearing some light noises throughout the day/night you should bring some earplugs with you.

United StatesThe elevator was very old and had issues - it had two door panels that you need to close and also hold to keep them shut during the ride because if you let go of those panels then one of the panels will open and the elevator will stop wherever it is and it happened multiple times. Apartment was on 4th floor so elevator was a necessity and it did freak me out initially when it stopped in the middle and I could not figure out how to get it started again.
The apartment was in an excellent location and was very nice. The host made every effort to accommodate my early check-in between 10:30 AM - 11 AM. The apartment was close to all the sites I wanted to visit and had all amenities I needed. The host was responsive and provided all the help needed during my stay.

The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed, including espresso coffee maker with coffee provided! Nice balcony. We had a car so it was very helpful that she had a parking space right in front of the building. Would go back on a future trip to Sofia.

SerbiaIt'll be lovely to have blanket and slippers. Also iron is really useful sometimes. If you are not sporty enough you should be aware that there's an old elevator in the building.
Overall apartment is really beautiful and comfortable. We've got a lovely time there. Beautiful kitchen and living room, comfortable bed, good shower. There is a private parking. If you travel by car it's a huge benefit of the place. All places of interest (Serdika, churches, synagogue, mosque, Vitoshka St, parks, market, grocery stores) are in a walking distance from the apartment.
