The buffet breakfast was varied and tasty. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. The hotel is close to the popular Vitosha boulevard and metro station.

I put one of our bags on top of the wardrobe in the bedroom to get it out of the way, and then when I needed it and brought it down I found it was covered in about a centimetre of fluffy dust that took me almost half an hour to clean it all off! I suggest the hotel have their cleaning staff clean the tops of the wardrobes on a regular basis.

Our room and ensuite bathroom were compact but very well equipped and very comfortable, and the lounge area was big and also comfortable. The provision of a kettle, fridge and microwave were very much appreciated, and we were able to borrow plates and cutlery from the hotel. It was just a short three block walk to the Vitosha pedestrian only area and all the shops, restaurants and parks nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and the aircon worked very well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Although the hotel is right in the middle of the city it was amazingly quiet and we did not even hear any noises from outside, so we slept extremely well. A Metro station was a short walk away.

I loved everything about the property except that they don’t have a dedicated parking lot. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is really good and close to everything you’d need.

My friend and I needed a place to stay for a night before heading to the Sofia airport for our rental car, and we needed a place close to the center so we still get to explore a bit. This hotel is in the perfect location for that, just a couple of minutes from Vitoshka street with access to restaurants, stores, and sights. The staff was super welcoming during check-in and check-out, offering to call us a taxi and asking clarifying questions as to what kind of taxi we'd like (for example, one where we can pay by card). Breakfast options were standard - we mostly appreciated having breakfast as an option. For one night, the room was perfect.

Small disappointment that the restaurant at the hotel was closed while we were there. We had chosen the hotel partly because it had a garden restaurant, which sounded nice during the summer. Unfortunately, it was closed (except for breakfast).

Good, basic 1 bed suite with comfortable bed and the minimum facilities we needed. It was nothing fancy but was very quiet, clean, comfortable and cool, so exceeded all our needs. It was nice to have a little more room to spread out and relax in, after several weeks of pretty tiny hotel rooms. Staff were very helpful, the included breakfast gave us fuel for long days of sightseeing, and the location was good, a short walk to most of the places we wanted to go. The area was interesting, with a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and interesting buildings and parks. It felt safe and we had no issues or problems. The hotel organised airport transfers and all was smooth and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

No AC or fan, given the temperatures in summer this was extremely surprising and would have made for an uncomfortable stay had we not been travelling with our own mini fans. The staff were at best indifferent, with the exception of an older gentleman (whose name I missed), who engaged us and made us feel very welcome; the other staff were far less interested in speaking to us, even when we checked in. There is a voucher given on check-in for the restaurant next door, unfortunately we found this restaurant to be extremely over priced - it would have been cheaper to have drinks from the fridge mini bar in the room! Don’t fall into the trap, there are plenty of other restaurants and bars minutes walks away which are far more reasonable. There were ants around the bathroom doorway which inevitably found their way into the main room occasionally as well.

Good location, clean room with good amenities including private bathroom, mini fridge and TV. Breakfast was varied and nice with a good selection of foods and drinks available in a self-serve buffet style.

Only thing which the hotel can improve is the variety in breakfast. For the 4 days we stayed, we had exactly same type of breads for the breakfast and even fruits. It will be great if hotel can incorporate local breads and dishes in the breakfast which will help a tourist to get a taste of local delicacies.

Excellent location. It is just a few mins walk from the main happening place in Sofia, Vitusha Boulivard and also tram and metro stations. We had a very good room with facilities like microwave, refrigerator and a good bathroom. Bed and pillows were very comfortable

My stay at Hotel Niky was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is amazing. Close to reataurants,center,shopping. All in walking distance.The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast is very good with good choices and the food was fresh. The room was good sized for one person traveler and very quiet.

The hotel is three metro stops and a short walk of a few blocks. Breakfast was good with a patio available for outside dining. The desk clerk I interacted with spoke English and was friendly and helpful. Several sites and activities are two metro stops distance.

The restaurant at the hotel is outsourced to another company and although it is lovely with its courtyard and the food was very good, the staff were less friendly, one waitress almost rude while I was paying the bill. A big contrast from the service received in the hotel.

Perfect location in the centre, tucked away and quiet, a very local feel, very well maintained, aircondition worked well, wifi also very good (I was doing some work), exceptional staff Tzvetan and Veli at reception, very helpful and friendly, very good breakfast buffet also, the staff at breakfast are very hard working and attentive. I will return.

A minor thing but there’s nothing to prevent water from the shower running all over the bathroom floor. I had to use my bath mat to soak it up.

Excellent customer service - staff were friendly, spoke excellent English and were very helpful with printing tickets, sorting luggage etc The beds were comfortable - the room was cool, dark and quiet so perfect sleeping conditions. Location was great, price was reasonable, room was clean and the included breakfast was good.
