Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandI would have liked to upgrade the accommodation, but it was not offered at check-in. We were only directed to the reception of our own hotel ( There is Palace, Mare and Bay ) We have stay now Mare and Bay. Maybe next time Palace
The pool areas were great and the milieu was pleasantly green. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. There are also enough different drinks and fruits available. The buffet meals were not quite at the level of the previous year and there could have been more variety. The Palace's main restaurant was the best of these. Unfortunately, the Burger restaurant was no longer in use.

RomaniaI gave it a small rating mostly for the all-inclusive concept, which I believe is not a sustainable one. It was the first and most likely the last time I will opt for such traveling with family. There is way too much food which is either thrown away or reused the second day, opening the door for food poisoning. Plus, there was a small issue with the room cleaning, as they came two days in a row in-between 14:00-16:00, which is normally when the kids are taking their afternoon nap. A better planning in this regard would be useful.
The personnel working there is very nice and they are doing their best to accommodate you and keep you entertained throughout the stay. The pools are lovely and all the amenities for the kids as well.

RomaniaCleaning: room had a lot of hair from previous tourists, on pillows (room 533)! Bed spreads were obviously not cleaned for a long time! Booze was cheap, apart of beer! Staff was acting weird, they acted like being afraid to talk (those who spoke English)! Also, they charged for a lot of things: parking, safe-box, etc! I hated the hotel approach on parking: they had no interest in making sure their tourists had a car park slot! I would have gladly paid more than 15 BGN / day (regular charge) had they had made sure I get a parking slot upon arrival! Also, hotel was making our life too complex: many activties and good booze were not free of charge (that is ok), but they did not take credit cards! They were expecting of us to carry BGN in the swim suit! 🫢
Food was great and a way too much, plentiful! Beer was good, the rest of drinks were acceptable, they van improve!

Romaniathe service at the reception is execrable. although I paid for the parking, the receptionist did not open the barrier and was even extremely aggressive. rude. this seems strange to me. an example - the evening of September 2 to 3. although it is something that repeats itself. something had to be adjusted here because such behavior is not normal

BulgariaToo loud noise and music, especially around the stage - it was unbearable at lunch time.
The food was great, lots of variety from healthy vegetables, fruits, salads to many side dishes and meat. There was a special Bulgarian night when they served delicious Bulgarian meals. The staff was helpful. Clean. Nice terraces at the sea.

RomaniaThere was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. There was no hot water at “the rush hours”. The double bed was actually two smaller beds put together - not optimal for a couple. This resort consists of 3 hotels, the one in the center being the most expensive. Only the guests from the central hotel have access to the sun beds on the beach. The other guests (us, for example) have access only to the sun beds on the cliff.
Food was fresh and very tasty - it was the highlight of our stay. :) The facilities were in good condition, overall. Fun waterslides. Clean rooms and premises.

RomaniaNot all activities are free. So you need to have some cash around. I will not comment if they are expensive or not but I can comment that for a hotel with many visitors outside Bulgaria, it is somehow inconvenient to still need local cash to pay in a hotel All Inclusive only. At least if there was the option to make the charge on the room to pay at the end or to have a POS. Nevertheless to have all activities free in the end. Food was good overall but not spectacular. You get rid of starving but if you want to spoil yourself a bit in the vacation you need to find some other restaurant outside of the resort. But please consider this is maybe the norm in an All Inclusive Hotel. Furniture and bathroom was looking kind of old. Functional but you can see 20 years or about passed over them.
Lots of activities you can do especially for families with kids. The restaurant had various foods to chose from, however, do not think of to many but one can have a nice meal. Room was spacious and beds good enough for resting. Climate system was working properly and without much noise. The beach and many places where there are also old trees are great. You can stay for few days without getting bored. Staff was also somehow nice overall.

IsraelCleaning issue: Unfortunately, there were ants in the rooms non-stop even after the room was cleaned. The sheets had stains. And I cleaned the toilets myself after I noticed that they were not cleaned properly. Food: Lack of non-pork meats Room quality: An outdated air conditioner that cannot set a temperature level at all. Beyond that, very weak and caused a lot of discomfort from the inability to cool the room. Equipment in the room (TV/ wardrobes, etc.) is very old and even a little ruined Environmental quality: very bad! and requires immediate care. All food services outside the dining rooms are served in disposable utensils, which creates a lot of garbage that is not healthy for the environment and pollutes. The beach was full of this kind of trash.
Food: There was variety in all meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner), good desserts, and elaborate food. Location: The hotel is in an excellent area. And the reception service is courteous. Pools: Clean. The pools look clean and also, the services that the hotel offers (attraction) are many.

MoldovaThe biggest problem: sun beds by the pools, it is impossible to get one unless you manage to get one at 7 in the morning. The water slides: always great lines for every slide, there are too many guests for the slides that are present. Very hard to find a proper parking lot, even, despite the high prices. Had a very unpleasant View: towards all the garbage pins and tennis courts, which made it difficult to rest.
The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of bars and activities for children. The food was good and the restaurant itself was clean all the time. The territory of the hotel is clean, beautiful and pleasant to explore.

BulgariaIn general everything is very good . Unfortunately my son tripped on an unsecured shaft and cut deeply his ankle. I went to ask the pool lifeguard for a bandaid and it turned out their first aid kit wasn’t fully stocked so there wasn’t a bandaid. He went to look for it and managed to bring one a little bit smaller than the wound. I alarmed the reception desk that there is unsecured shaft over which people with wet feet walk on and there is a big chance that somebody else might trip and fell. Well, nothing happened I the next days to the said shaft and people were constantly sliding over it . I think they finally covered it with some fake grass after 3 days . The all inclusive wine is terrible , it’s like the worst possible you can get . The spirits are fine. Save for the bad injury experience and the wine , everything else in general is very good.
The water slides and the pools are great - very convenient when you are with a nine year old . It’s very nice that there is a football playground. The food is good , so as the air conditioning. The staff on the reception desk and bars are nice and smiling .

Romania- there was a "food police" girl standing in front of the door of the restaurant to check if you want to leave with food, which was forbidden. What??? Whaat??? It is a family hotel, of course a child doesn't always eat all the food and gets hungry soon after they leave the restaurant. I had to ask her every day for a plate to have some food for my 3yo in the room. They were an exception, because the would not allow adults to leave even with fruits of beverages in their hand. At one point the girl even asked if my kid had an all inclusive bracelet (she didn't wear one) ... Like did she thought we sneeked our child in the hotel?? This treatment made us feel horrible, making us beg for food we paid for. It's the first time in at least 10 all inclusive bookings in Bulgaria we encounter this situation. - the plates of food were not at the customers disposal, as they had people cooking the food there, so you can imagine the waiting line for the actual food was constant, at least 5 people. In the meat area the waiting line was often 10-15 people. This is discouraging especially for parents with small kids, in having to wait in line for food instead of spending a quality relaxing time at the table. People was nervous and anxious because of these waiting lines, making their way in front of others, all this giving a stressful ambiance. I personally quit on staying in these lines from the beginning because I wanted to be relaxed, but it is not OK. I have again not seen this type of service anywhere. I gave up daily at my options of food for which I paid for, not only for me but for my child as well. - they only gave the option of milk and cereal for breakfast every 2-3 days. - the restaurant had the tables extremely close to each other, causing much fuss and noise, not a relaxing place to eat. - there were only 3 elevators for 7 wide floors and the restaurant floor, there were always lines here as well. - the noise of the rooms.
- it needs some updates, but it was clean - everyone had access to pools, as they were so many. It is a complex of 3 hotels to which everyone has access one to another. They seemed clean. - there were slides for all sort of ages and difficulty accessible. - the access to the beach is very short, you just go about 30 stairs and you reach the beach. They do not have available sunbeds at the sea for this hotel, the beach is nice, good for kids, but very narrowed and gets crowded fast. - they have a very wide variation of pickles and salads. The food in general (the one you could reach out to) was ok, the variations were extremely limited. - you could still find one or two sunbeds unoccupied by 9am. - the complex was clean in general. - in between meals there were snacks available in different areas, but no fruits. - the sunbeds in the forest and the bar look very nice, but they are so few we didn't even bothered to wake up at 6 to occupy one. - when it rained we went to the inside pool, which got very crowded fast, because it is medium size. But it was nice we had a place to go with our energic toddler. - they have fun activities for the kids like painting, getting colorful breads, going ok an inflatable boat in the pool in the evening. Everyting is payable. - they also have a small shop inside the business, next to the restaurant. - the evening shows are pretty nice, but the ones for the kids are always the same every day. It gets really crowded you sometimes can't find a seat available. They make a show for all 3 hotels.
