Not a fan of shower wetting the whole bathroom floor. This town has very high electricity charges, so the room temperature was limited to 20.5 C.

The view is everything. Having a balcony is a bonus. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and couldn't ask for for anything more.

The isolation of the rooms was not good: we could hear every chair being moved upstairs... and as our room was on the side of the street, we could hear all cars... The matrases are not so confortable.

The location is exceptional (right in the middle of the center, so, close to the castle as well as close to the shops and restaurants) The food at the restaurant is good and fresh. The bath tub jacuzzi in the room was a nice option on top of the spa (pool a bit cold but functioning). Very nice staff.

When we stayed there was a school trip and it was pretty noisy. The staff did speak to the supervisors though.

Spa area is poor for a 4 star hotel. Pool area needs immediate update. The lady from spa that is also the masseuse speaks only Bulgarian, was very hard to understand what we need.

First of all, I was disappointed because the swimming pool and sauna are closed on Sunday and Monday, and on Booking it wasn't any notice about that. Sauna and swimming pool were the main reasons we wanted to stay here. Another disappointing was that there were no free parking lots at the hotel. The bathroom needs improvements, The draining system is awful, all the bathroom was full of water, about 2 cm, after a shower.. All the bathroom, not only the shower area. Also it was weird to see that the electric socket of the hairdryer was inside the shower! With almost no protection. We opted for a queen size bed, I even received a confirmation for this, but I get a double bed

There was a party, and the room we were in sounded right above it on till 12am, then another hour of moving furniture

The breakfast was very simple, you have to choose between several variants — there is no buffet.

The location is fantastic, in the center of VTarnovo, close to main attractions. The room and all the facilities are quite modest, but clean and the bed was comfortable. For 1-2 nights it is a nice place. I would say it is 3 stars, for sure not 4, but it is not that important… Try to get the room with the valley view — it is really breathtaking. (otherwise you will observe just the busy and noisy main street of the town).

Booking.com reservation stated a terrace but the room didn't have one so we were moved but to the front of the hotel without the river view.
