Our room had no window - room had one glass wall towards inside patio with glass roof (=no air), I strongly suggest that you reserve room with a window to the street (there are not many). Bad sound isolation. Otherwise hotel is very nice.

Very nice hotel, cool interior, very friendly staff, proper breakfast. Top location. We were in Veliko Turnovo only one day and it was enough time to see all its turist attractions. Interesting city with cute old bazzar street.

The breakfast was poor. It’s a plate chosen by them. They attend my request of gluten free but I think they should confirm what people really eat just to avoid waste

Neither of these things were the fault of the property but it happened to be very hot. I do not like to use air conditioning but it allowed us to cool down from the heat outside. The property is situated on a very busy street where the traffic never seemed to stop so we were unable to have the window open at nighttime. But the balcony made it possible to sit out very early in the morning.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I wanted to ask the name of one young lady who was particularly helpful to give her a mention but she was not there on the day we checked out. Our room was very comfortable with very good bathroom facilities. The atrium was lovely with plants everywhere and lovely, interesting decorations. Breakfast was very varied and tasty and we could have it early when we left as well as my sister being given hers to go.

The staff are extremely polite and helpful (even spoke excellent English). The rooms were larger with a boutique hotel feel (every room is a little different) and equipped as you'd expect. Very quiet over night and a very pleasant stay overall.

First and foremost, all the staff were exceptionally very polite and couldn't do enough for you and the breakfasts were well made and presented beautifully ,now about the Diabora Guest House wow wow what a beautiful place top notch room 13 absolutely well presented and had every facility you needed and more it was kept spotless every single day by the cleaner. All I can say is a very big thank you for a very comfortable stay.

Not an issue for us but no elevator for those with mobility issues.

Room was comfortable. Katya was very nice helping with check in. Breakfast was pretty good. Great air conditioning as it was warm. The hotel is on a busy street with no parking in it. Parking is not far but a number of the lots were full. We were lucky to get a spot on the street. This is the nature of VT as it is such a vertical town, there isn’t much flat space for parking in the old part. Very charming side streets though.

Parking is a bit expensive (off-site parking only) if you are driving a personal vehicle. But staff was helpful at directing us to parking lots nearby.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to the fortress, Gurko Street and the old market street (Samovodska Charshiya). The street entrance is very unassuming, but once you enter the hotel the furnishings are beautiful.

Excellent location right in heart of town easily able to walk to all attractions. Friendly staff with nice breakfast. Very unique looking place .Loved the bathroom sink.Very accommodating as required an early breakfast. Highly recommend. .

I will start by saying the staff was great! They gave me all the info in advance about the access, breakfast, parking spots neaeby and everytginf else I asked. They even called me on whatsapp to make sure I got everything right. The location is very central. The room was so great: it had a double bed, private bathroom, and like a smaller room sivided from the main one with only bookshelves, which served as a dressing and also had a minifridge. From the room we had access to an interior closed terrace, which was a common area for all the other rooms o that floor. The Breakfast was also very good and diverse. From the street it looks like amy other building, nothing that special, because it's facade is squeezed between other buildings. But after you enter, tou have like 30 seconds before you are amazed! The building itself is extremely interesting in architecture and in the way it was decorated.

The room we were in (number 3) had a broken shower head and was very uncomfortable to use. Also the lighting was automatic and it was annoying. And the fact that the place doesn’t go with parking was troubling.

It had comfortable bed, a nice setting and the location was awesome.
