Tv need to have Netflix and English tv instructions beacouse I don’t speak Bulgarian and only understand 40%

Everything was perfect, the restaurant is right outside the apartment, outstanding quality of traditional Bulgarian food. Bed was very comfortable, the dog outside my apartment was keeping my company when it was night time / he was very adorable and we become friends, there is lively kittens that come and play as the restaurant have also outside tables and these kittens melt everyone heart as they are so playful. It’s perfect atmosphere overall . the owner of the restaurant and hotel have massive passion for baking on order Bulgarian bread and pizza’s, everything overall was perfect, even waitress was always looking after me, the food was coming in good time and traditional folklore music was nicely in the background. The evening time during dinners there is very magical atmosphere, if you really want to have memorable experience in enjoying traditional food this is the best place to be. Prices are also very good , and highest quality of food and service. Will definitely return.

All good. Not sure about location - was easily accessible- as generally the town is a very long similar looking place. If there is a prettier central area we didn’t see it.

Good value and enjoyable hotel. Great attention to detail in the furnishings and hotel generally. Good and interesting local menu and enjoyable multi level layout giving a slightly quirky element in a mostly non descript town. Staff were mostly young and very pleasant although offered no advice or information unless directly asked.

There were a few minor problems in the housekeeping dept, which may have been due to a lack of staff (a national problem at present), but these did not detract too much from the pleasure of our stay.

We stayed at Bulgarche for one night last year, enjoyed the experience, so returned this year for two nights, using it as a base from which to explore the Rhodope area. The rooms are well-equipped and furnished in a distinctive but tasteful local style; clearly a lot of thought went into the planning of them. Last year we found the breakfast pleasant but rather sparse, but this year there was a choice of dishes and we were very well fed. However, the chief attraction is the restaurant, which serves the best food we have encountered in Bulgaria. We ate there both evenings. The main challenge is not ordering too much as the menu is very tempting and the portions are very generous. As elsewhere in Bulgaria, the prices are higher than last year, but fortunately the quality is unchanged. Mark was a particularly helpful waiter, but one of his colleagues less so.

There wasn't many comfortable facilities. There is only one bathroom and the apartment is for 4-6 people. You don't have towel rail to put your towels to dry and the refrigerator didn't had power point to turn it on so we had to move it in another part of the room to plug it in. The other thing that makes bad impression was that we had breakfast included but exept the meal they told us that it includes ONLY tea and instant coffee. So for a real coffee we had to pay additionally. That was annoying. Better include it in the price of the room.

The interior design of the apartment is perfect. It's beautiful inside the rooms and it gives you the feeling that you are in some cozy mountain hut. The apartment was clean and the stuff in the restaurant were polite.

The parking is a bit small but its not big deal compred to everything you receive.

This small hotel is everything you need for in the mountain. This is the second time we stay there during a work expo and we love it. The food is amazing, the staff is very polite, kind and always helpful and I am in love with all the small details that make our stay perfect everytime. It has stunning price-quality ratio. Its perfect hotel! Thank you! PS: you can buy local products from them. The jams are amazing but our favourite product is the fresh cheese brinza.

If you search for an accomodation in the central part of the town, a good restaurant along with the vibe of a closed complex - you've got it all in one. Great room - I slept like a log there. The food was fantastic, the staff was young, energetic and they gave me more than enough of attention.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bulgarche Hotel. Rooms are nice, warm and cozy! Тhe staff is very polite, friendly and always willing to help you! There is also a great Bulgarian restaurant inside the hotel with very tasty Bulgarian cuisine. Highly recommended-it's a great place for relaxing!

breakfast could've been better.

We stayed one night in the hotel for an extremely reasonable price and ate at the restaurant. The hotel is decorated in a modern interpretation of the traditional local style. Our room was well-equipped, spacious and with a balcony (although the view was nothing to write home about, being a not-too distant prospect of the back of a commercial laundry and of its resident guard dog). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom conveniently laid out. Everything had been done with great attention to detail and was very clean. There are even tea and coffee-making facilities in the entrance lobby. It you have limited mobility be warned that there are a lot of steps, both inside the restaurant and outside to get to the rooms, as the complex is perched on the side of a small river valley (no stream evident while we were there). Parking is interesting. The restaurant was excellent, serving local dishes, extremely well-prepared and presented, at very modest prices. The waiting staff were helpful and everything arrived promptly and in a rational order (unusual in Bulgaria). We tried as many dishes as we had capacity for and enjoyed them all. The perlinki were exceptional. Our evening’s enjoyment was completed by a performance from two Rhodopi bag-pipers.

This was the best place we have been ever in our last 10 years of traveling. The very personal touch of quality in room design, the room service and the healthy food choices within its restaurant’s menu is making the stay at this hotel a superb experience. We highly recommend hotel “Bulgarche” with its own restaurant to anyone who is visiting Smolyan.

Second day breakfast was a bit disappointing - only one option and very dry traditional dough, unlike the previous day where you could choose out of 3 options including a more healthy one.

Everything was tidy and new, very cozy. The restaurant was excellent, staff was very nice. The hotel is located literally at the beginning of the pedestrian downtown area. I would stay there again.

If I am going to be super picky then I would say the toilet seat in the bathroom was cracked but that's a minor issue

The room, the staff, the food in the restaurant and the small attention and care which we received was truly touching. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and they will definitely be seeing us again. A true gem has been discovered.
