Staff could be friendlier and more porfessional. We asked if we can store our luggage for a couple of hours and also if they can call us a taxi and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. Also the reception says its open from 8am to 8pm, but it was more like 10am to 5pm.

The room is very clean and comfortable! The bathroom as well. The location is nice too, it's a bit loud so earplugs are recommended for a good sleep. The communal area is nice but not thought through, there's a little kitchen corner with cutlery and a kettle, but nowhere to clean your stuff. Also the staff is not really friendly but that seemed to be an Bugarian thing.

Elevator did not work as expected, but at least you don't have to climb a lot of stairs.

Hotel is located in a good location. It is easy to reach by foot. Clean and big room. There is a couch, table, big bed and a nice bathroom. There are nice restaurants nearby and you are basically in the old town. You enter the building and your room using room codes.

Only downside is that there is no parking around but it is a common thing for the city.

Great location, facilities and amazing view from the terrace! We would definitely recommend it and come back.

A minor issue in room 1 that staff should perhaps address: both of the bedside lamps are broken. One does not work at all; the other has a faulty electrical cable - the wire has to be very specifically positioned for the the light to come on. Perhaps time to replace them? There is also a fridge in the communal area with cold beers and soft drinks as well as chocolate, but it remains locked at all times as the contents are chargeable, so no access to them. May I suggest installing a vending machine in its place? Booking.com mentions a balcony as a room feature. My room did not have a balcony. It did not worry me as I did not need one, but worth mentioning.

I absolutely loved my stay here at the Executive Rooms Play. The premises are situated right on the main street through the centre of town. All the must see sights are walkable from the hotel; there is an abundance of restaurants and bars all around; it is a short 10 minute walk from the bus station. (Note that the buses to and from Plovdiv serve the West Bus Station, some 3km away). The hotel appears to only have seven rooms, plus three suites. The reception area is very welcoming and cosy. There are sofas where you can relax and free tea and coffee making facilities as well as a toaster and a microwave. My room was room 1, a very cosy double room with a very comfortable bed and a delightful bathroom. I really enjoyed the very spacious wet room shower. The wifi was strong and reliable; the staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to stay again one day; I will specifically request to stay in room 1 again!

Pillows are really soft. It was one of the worst I slept on. Just a suggestion to improve them if possible.

It's was a bit noisy. I can hear noise coming from the street and sometimes from our neighbors. I can sleep well even if there is a noise, but not everybody is like that.

Perfect view at awesome location. Super nice rooms. The bed was very nice, although the mattress was a bit soft for my taste, but it will suite well for most people.

We didn’t mind, but it’s good to know that the heat is from the air conditioning and there was no cleaning service during our three days stay.

Ție property is situated close to the main places of interest ( you can take a nice walk to the fortress through the city). The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the coffee from the coffee machine in the lobby ( a bit noisy, however:))every morning. Also good value for money.

Not a problem to me but the desk is closed between 22 and 10 the next day. Booking through internet only. But as every thing is at a very good standard this should not be a problem. I assume they send you the codes for entry outside the office hours by email. This might cause an issue.

I very nice and spacious room in the center of the city. As often in Bulgaria all you need is at walking distance and the Tourist Office is at some 100 meters.
