The older rooms could use a change of furniture and some refreshment. The service in the restaurant can be quite slow sometimes due to the small amount and maybe capacity of the kitchen and staff. Unfortunately, the kitchen also uses too much frozen stuff, like the fried potatoes, cheese pane. Didn't enjoy the meat either (шишче), quite fake meat as well (but the cats liked it :) ).

This hotel definitely exceeds some expectation given the little village/town it is located in. Really close to the greek border, very quiet and peaceful place. We loved the location of the restaurant, sitting at the open terrace seeing the well maintained plants and garden pleases us every time. The first floor rooms are completely renewed and are really awesome for the price you pay. The older rooms on the other floors are quite adequate as well for their price. We strongly reommend as food the pots (гърне/гювеч) because they are homemade and taste wonderful.

This hotel serves as an ideal pit-stop, offering cozy rooms and a kind-hearted staff. The surrounding environment is beautifully landscaped and even boasts the presence of peacocks, adding to its charm. Although the hotel doesn't boast a recent construction, it maintains a high standard of cleanliness. The pool and the tasty breakfast further enhance the overall experience. I wholeheartedly endorse it.

The bathrooms need some updating despite the fact they are clean. The pool should be better maintained as the water is not very clear.

The personnel doesn't know to much english, but they are very polite and trying their best to make things work. The menu for the restaurant is very bad translated to english, so you can barely understand some of the food's names. It's also frustrating that they don't bring all food in the same time, so you will finish your main course before you will receive the fries... :))) But the food has reasonable prices and tastes good, so .... work with what you have... The fans in the bathroom are a little tired and making loud noises, so don't open the light if you go to the bathroom during the night and don't want to wake up the roommates. :)

The hotel is perfect for a stop on your way to or back from Greece. It has a very clean an relaxing pool, good prices for the food and comfy beds. Is very close to the border, so if you want to leave really early, you can reach the border in a few minutes. Rooms were spacious and big, AC is working well and we had a very good night sleep. Downstairs restaurant has good tasting food for a good price. The hotel has a parking in the back yard and enough place for about 20 vehicles. If it's get to crowded, I think you can park on the street in front of the hotel, too. They also have a small market on the ground level, where you can buy something and cook it/ eat it in the garden, because they have grills and gazebos around the place. Whole place.... rooms, stairs, pools, garden...were very clean.

Minor issues with the hosts not speaking English (some did, in the evening, but in the morning, all the English-speakers were gone). However, that was, as specified, only a minor issue, I still recommend the hotel.

The hotel was a one-night stop on the way to Greece. We picked it because it had secured parking for our motorcycle and a restaurant on-site. The room, dinner and breakfast were adequate. Nothing too great, nothing terrible. A very good choice for our needs (it was just a few km from the border with Greece, while costing only a fraction from what a similar hotel would've been over the border).

Cold water didn't work. Only very hot! Couldn't take a shower. The wallpaper has a smell of smoke although the room has the sign of not smoking! Couldn't pay by card, had to look for a ATM at 22.00pm! Shame!
